Camping in the new 4 door Bronco is great. If you fold down the back seats and put something like a folded table in the back section to level the floor and the back of the seats , you can just throw your air mattress (and new fancy blanket) right in the back. Very comfy for 2. Congrats on the new ride! We love ours!
@@flyingsparksgarage we used a white plastic folding table just like the one you were rebuilding the transmission on. Folded it fits just about perfect and unfolded makes a great camp table. I’d get a clean one though after rebuilding the trans on that one😂
I suspect I am not the only older feller out there who looks at you two and sees hope for the future. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for over 42 years, and I see some of the connection between you two that we have. I gotta tell ya, it makes me smile. Do more of this...my wife just retired and we have been waiting to hit the road ourselves...it'll happen soon, but we remember the times you are living...and I can tell you, it helps to spend time nurturing what sparked the fire... Sorry, not intended as a rant. LOL.
22 minutes into video and your happiness is coming thru the screen lately just like those smells are in the videos. What I am trying to say is that your realness is something I don't see in other TH-cam channels and I watch a lot of them seeing I don't have a tv in over 20 years.
Just wanted to say that it was really nice to see people cooking and eating a healthy meal and not act like it was a sin. Y'all are great examples of how you are truly a couple. The new ride is great, the tried and true relationship is even better! Thanks for the mid week camping trip! Happy Easter!
Emily & Aaron, I have watched you guys for quite a while and this Video, in my opinion, was your best yet, great job cooking and I love your new ride, congrats.
I'm not a Ford fan but... love the old Bronco. Derek from VGG would be proud to see you in one of his shirts during the first few scenes. The camping and meal looked like fun. Hope that sleeping set up was warm enough.
What a awesome video thanks, love the new Bronco. Treating yourselves now and then is great, seeing you two smiling so much speaks volumes must have been a good purchase. Thanks again for sharing with us take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
I love the look and capabilities of the Bronco but wouldn't want the engine troubles they have. I seriously would love to see someone put the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel in that they have in the ranger everywhere else but of course here. I do a ton of diesel swaps and would love to do this one day.
The only engine issues that I’m aware of was broken valve springs on the 2.7, from what I understand it was a short run of defective valve springs and not related to engine design, I believe that was resolved, but as much as I like them I can’t justify the high price, that’s not just a Ford problem, that’s industry wide.
@@ddddsd20 Well I am replacing a head gasket on a Ford 2.3 right now that has 46k on the odo. Ford won't warranty it. Also personally know 3 people that yes the springs broke but the valves dropped and destroyed the engine. Of course it's Fords fault, who else's fault is it? They designed and bought the parts. Just because they don't test well enough isn't our fault. That's why there is a class action law suit against them for this very problem. Also two of the vehicles my friends have are a year apart, doesn't seem like a very short period to me. Yes the prices across the board are ridiculous. I almost bought a YJ in 1992, wish I had, sahara for 12k just though it was far too much money. LOL. It is truly ridiculous one of the Broncos cost more than my house. Also the engines are having more than just the valves, Matt Carriker from demo ranch had to return his because it was leaking oil within a couple hundred miles. I thought the point of buying new vehicles was to have reliability. LOL. Its why I own a 1998 Tacoma, 300k and still going strong.
@@SimonElenor well, I guess Ford can get in line with Chevy and the never ending lifter failures, consumers are screwed. With constant recalls and part failures, I’ve given up on new vehicles, everyone waves the Toyota flag as being the best, but they have ruined the Tundra in my opinion, it may prove itself in a few years but by then they will want 6 figures for a new one, I’m guessing the Tacoma and 4Runner aren’t far behind. They’ve built some great vehicles, I’ve owned a few, but I’m not willing to pay a 2nd house note to own one. I hope it find something used that will last, but they seem to be in short supply.
@@ddddsd20 Exactly! There is the old adage "They don't build them like they used to." Is very true. It why I have been offered way above book value for my truck. Also why used car prices are skyrocketing. They just can not build or design anything well anymore. They build stuff at the minimums of tolerance for strength anymore. They do it on purpose. Its the reason jeep got rid of the unkillable 4.0, they weren't making enough money from parts. Sadly pathetic.
It is so awesome seeing you guys do things just for you. You're both such sweethearts. Aaron looks amazing. This is the first video that I have watched of you two for too long, and it is so near see Aaron being himself again.
Hey guys, I just discovered your channel a couple days ago and have spent some time watching several episodes, starting with, yep, the tractor repairs. We have a farm in central NC, north of Charlotte. My in-laws were living in north Charlotte until Covid. My wife and I gave them an acre beside us, and they started their build in the middle of the Covid craziness. It's a barndominium post style house attached to a 48x72 shop via a carport. We are still finishing up the shop, which will have a dedicated woodshop for my FIL, and a 48x48 mechanical section for farm equipment and automotive/truck repair. I've watched back to the episode where you brought the Nova home. I think that I was able to read between the lines, and know where you're coming from because I was was there 14 years ago. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that others have been there, and come out the other side feeling great, but I know it isn't easy. It appears that you are well on your way. Keep up the good work and I'll be following along now. I hope to get the electrical done in the shop and start my own wrenching soon! Best wishes.
We’re sure happy you found us!! We’re ready to be 14 years down the road from all this but we know we have the necessary steps to take to be fully healthy! It’s a gift, in all reality ❤️ Sure do appreciate the kindness and encouragement 🙏🏼
@@flyingsparksgarage Follow the steps and they will lead you to your desired destination. They lead me to realize that every day is a gift that shouldn't be taken for granted. We have two healthy kids now, the oldest of which is 13, if that means anything. I'm looking forward to building a '74 K20 with him in the new shop soon!
Congratulations on your new ride. I live on the Big Island, and we camp on the slope of Maunakea Volcano at the 6500 foot elevation...it's fricken cold, but the stars in the sky are almost reachable. We are in our 60s, but we love to do stuff like this. Keep up the great content. Love your show. Aloha🤙🏼🤙🏼
Congratulations to you both on the new addition! Looks like it's going to be great to not have to always work on something before heading out for a fun weekend. So glad to see you both happier. Enjoy Life and one another everyday!
You guys are awesome! You buy a new Bronco and take it camping and then you cook on that awesome grill and you made me hungry just looking at your food, it look so delicious 😊
Oh nice bronco, my daughter and son in law bought a brand new bronco. It rides very nice. While I’m watching you setup camp I’m looking out my window with snow storm in southern Manitoba Canada 😛
So stoked for you guys! I know you're gonna have a blast in this thing...so fun! And the old-school Bronco hat makes it! Congratulations, and I'm looking forward to your future shenanigans with it! ✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
15,000 miles and is sold as an "as is - no Warranty". pretty sure Fords warranty is better than that normally. I totally get buying the vehicle, I like the new broncos but I'm not sure if I would spend $67,000 on a vehicle that the dealership is not going to stand behind. there are a ton of dealerships out there that stand behind their used cars with a warranty included. I wish you good luck with it.
I love the green color! Next video it will be covered in mud! Lol Aaron you have too many modes! Emily you had better like that blanket! That chicken looked yummy.
In 1975 I bought a friends 65 Bronco. With a snow plow that little beast plowed a lot of snow! So in 2021 I ordered a pepper red Maverick Lariat loaded but not with a sun roof. That is one truck truck. I looked at a Bronco that was used? $68,000 bucks. I have $43,000 in my Maverick. I really wanted a F150 but I wanted one that would tow a trailer. Holy Moly $$$$$$$$$$$$. Enjoy your new Bronc, worth every penny guys, love it! L!!! Id like to get the camper that would sit on top? My wife said, no don’t think so hun!!!!
Congratulations on the new Bronco, Ive heard the IFS is problematic especially if you plan to lift the truck and put bigger tires on and I think it was Lite Brite that had issues with the top leaking like an open faucet…but otherwise it is a sharp vehicle

Air mattress 101 for camping. when ever camping with an air mattress ALWAYS bring a moving blanket or two to put under the mattress. The cold ground will suck the heat out of your body trying to get/keep the air warm for sleeping.
