    I don't have Ninja Foodi, but have Power Pressure Cooker, so would this work in my pressure cooker ?

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the question Diane. If your Power Pressure cooker has a sear or saute feature it should work. Just make sure to get the bottom of the pot hot before you put the oil in it. The faster the you can get the corn to the high temp the better popping you will see and the corn won't burn. Popping should only take a couple of minutes to complete. Thanks again.😊👍

    I thought Kettle Corn is made with sugar and salt. I think this is cheesy popcorn.

      You are correct Cattitude. The original kettle corn was a salty and sweet version. Nowadays everyone has a version, this is the one i like. thanks for the comment.

      Yeah, this is NOT Kettle Corn. This represents the WORSE kind of click bait.

      You are absolutely correct. I think it was an honest mistake tho, considering many still believe kettle corn is a reference simply to the vessel in which it is popped. Any/all 'versions' then OR now, however,.... are determined to be "kettle corn" due to their addition of SUGAR & salt. Being sure to add it after popping, to avoid burning. Kinda surprised it didn't scorch popped in veg oil & at such high heat, but this, was mac & cheese flavored popcorn. Imho, whatever works & whatever each person likes... is the best option! Still isn't kettle corn tho, you are right there. (for great movie theater style... popped in coconut oil (which many theaters used & still do) clarified butter &/or a product called, "flavacol" (also used in theaters) ..... ammmmazing!) :) Enjoy. stay safe & be well.

      @@isitmondayet Not sure, but think it was prob an honest mistake... Thinking "kettle corn" just referenced the pot it was made in, rather than.... being signified by the use of SUGAR & SALT. (which, then OR now... is the only thing that describes a 'kettle corn' style) Many people believe it's called that, actually... because of the vessel it's popped in. It's definitely determined by flavor tho, you're correct. Take care.
