you've heard of double heading, maybe even triple heading, but you almost certainly haven't heard of duodecuple heading
The coupler would probably break IRL. A push-pull configuration would be more realistic
for steam thats a pain to do, irl. though in game there's no way to operate several steam locomotives at the same time either
