    I was a little doubtful at first, but the Americanized features on the British engines really grew on me. Kinda wonder how you'd make over my true love, the old SECR C Class now.

    I actually was really pleased by the result of this one. Felt like it was being coherent with itself the whole way through, minus the end bit. I like how you tie up the end with the Sniper character separately from the main action and yet it's not conveyed in a way that's out of place as a result of establishing the assets playing into the scene earlier. Nice one mate as Sniper would say. Regards, Samuel Farris.

    For anyone curious as to why the Thoroughbred looks strange compared to the other British locomotives featured in this video, its because the model is a recolored version of the Americanized Flying Scotsman from its 1969 USA tour where it had to wear a cow catcher, bell, and headlamp in order to comply with American railroad regulations.

    i really love that you reused existing texures and and decals to make custom engines. and using music that fits TF2 itself. like the american modifications added to flying scotsman. also. i have one question. please dont delete this one.

    (seriously dont delete this. im scared-) i like the use of cuphead music. although.... okay nevermind

    • @FlyingScott
      @FlyingScott  ปีที่แล้ว

      I choose not to associate with Thomas because his younger fans tend to only view railway related matters through the lens of a children's program. Completely nullifying any effort I put into my content because "it MUST be referring to or based on that thing from Thomas", which totally disregards that the operations seen in Thomas are based on real procedures and not the other way around, but that is a different conversation altogether.
      To most TH-cam viewers, the relationship with their content creator of choice is that they merely wait a few days, with some even less than a few days, for a new video to show up. The only effort a viewer has to put in these days is not click off after a video takes longer than a TikTok. So when after putting in hours and I do mean hours of work into a project, let's say an animation, when young fans then instantly say "oh hey he did this because of Thomas" "oh this is just like Thomas" "Oh that is like that one train from Thomas (even though it completely isn't)", I'd rather those younger fans go to the channels that specifically make Thomas content to get their Thomas fill.
