Thanks Roy for the happy memory's this was just before things changed big time of the rolling stock front and went down hill love the foot bridge name Stepping stone
Brilliant video, Roy. Can remember Mill Green Box and as I live on Woolram Wyagte (been here since 2002 after moving from a village in rural Leicestershire), heard nothing and saw nothing when it was taken down. Winsover Road looks completely different without the box no longer there.
Thank you Emma, I would think that you will be looking forward to that Bridge being built over the railway, I know how long the crossing at Mill Green is closed when I do filming at the station when the signal goes green with the train only passing South Drove. Glad you enjoyed the Video, there is 166 on my channel now, so plenty for you to watch.
Great collaboration there Roy. Loving the HST on the diversion. Great to see you had the foresight to record all this, a period of great change on the railway, and for Spalding too.
I must say, those scenes of the permanent way work around 25:00 do rather raise questions about some of the contractors that Railtrack used. There seems a distinct lack of eye protection with grinders in use, and some rather non-Health & Safety approved clothing 🤔
Thank you Kev, I am slowly going through my 1980s and 1990 Tapes to make sure I have not missed anything before moving to the 2000 + collection. I still hope to do the Doncaster works soon.

That was before more stringent H&S working came in.
Brilliant video Roy & Thank you! Do you have any plans to upload your video of the Doncaster works `plant` open day from 2003?
Regards
Kev.
