Reading the book is amazing. It gives you a whole perspective seeing this problem. And when you watch the video it shows how people need it and how it really shows you, in color and video. I replayed it and closed my eyes and just tried to imagine what it would be like there. Truly amazing.

Remarkable work, and the level of excitement I have to bring this material to the attention of future generations of students is ineffable.
As I'm trying to find material to bring into the classroom I find "A Long Walk to Water" and wasn't sure how I felt about it. That evening I started reading, that morning I finished the book, and I've since encouraged children in my area to seek out the book on their own as I myself write a multitude of lessons for a variety of topics around the content of the book, the Lost Boys of Sudan, and projects such as Water For Sudan.
As I said, truly remarkable work.
