- The plaintiff worked as a nanny for the defendant and his estranged wife. DCFS got involved after a child got injured under the plaintiff’s care, but then the kids got removed from the defendant’s wife’s house. The plaintiff looked after the kids when they went to the defendant’s house, but she claims she hasn’t been paid, so she’s suing. The defendant doesn’t think he needs to pay because he gave his wife the money to pay the plaintiff.

CPS will take children from good homes from non abusive parents! But will let children stay with abusive parents until they are in a body bag! Make it make sense! So glad the children stayed with their Father!!

The case worker really took those kids over a bruise that didn’t even happen in the mothers care. Mean while kids like Gabriel Fernandez get ignored until they’re dead. She traumatized those kids and their mother over nothing but her ego. I hope Karma gets her

True enough. I'm not young anymore but, I was used as a baby sitter. And I remember one time this lady had me watch her child and disappeared for over 24 hours and didn't want to pay me the little 10 dollars she owed me.
@@cgogetitI only was a babysitter for a very short time and yet the mom never would be back when she said she would be. Like 5hours at least and I would worry asking myself what could be happening at this point ? Cant imagine what would have gone through your mind after 24hrs ?!
In all honesty I was a babysitter and if someone came late or wasn't there I wasn't getting mad I don't feel like I'm being used I feel like I'm spending time with the children longer and I was a kid when I was a babysitter and an adult as a babysitter I don't mind it as long as when the parent does for guardian does come back they gave me some type of reason of why they can't pay or a reason why they are late cuz you know people are people and things do happen😅 play some crazy as f*** so people don't play with me the way that they will play with y'all

According to them there was a video of the incident and they still decided to remove the child from their mother. Just sad.

Parents be wanting Nannies & babysitter to do what they can’t even do! Children play and sometimes get hurt all the time. With it without parents. Should a teacher not get paid if they child hurt herself at recess? Should a stay at home mom not get money from her husband because a child fell while at playground playing? He owed the nanny regardless.

You so right. When I was 17, I spent the summer with my only sister. Because I had a summer job. She charged me $50 per week to stay with her. And made me babysit her kids from 3:30pm until 10:30pm daily, sometimes until midnight. Because she went to college after getting off work. I wasn't paid one penny but got charged. When I brought this up, she said "You there aunt". And I told her 'you their mother...' Needless to say, I had my dad start picking me up when he got off work on Friday mornings from the chicken plant. And I would not go back to her house until Sunday night when my dad dropped me off on his way to work. I am not a 7 days a week built in babysitter that also must pay weekly just to work a summer job to buy my school clothes, school supplies, and have money during the year for basketball season as I was on the girls basketball team in high school.
I remember my neighbor tried to pay me 7 dollars for watching 3 kids for 2 weeks. My grandfather stopped that QUICK!

I'm sorry but this girl have some nerves to be suing him. She way too nonchalant about the incident. She was negligent and let a child swing on a cabinet and hurt her eye while she supposed to be watching her. Then they almost lost their kids to the system. I would have sued her for neglect medical expenses and emotional distress.

Judge Mathis has NO idea how expensive daycare is and how brutal those late fees can be because he clearly said he babysits his own grandchild for FREE like grandparents SHOULD do 😅 Nothing sis did was illegal. There are general day fees then late fees and the daycare and/or nanny can charge what they want just like any other product/service 🤷🏾♀️ His wife is shady for not paying someone to keep her children.
You pay others to keep your children, you can pay the grandparents too! Only thing us grandparents do for free is love our grandchildren!!! We're not obligated to take care of your children!! We do so out of love!

They Definitely deserve it because it's their time and gas and for the fact that we know our children are in Great Hands...not to mention the after school daycare fees are outrageous 😲
My parents have always kept my kids after school (there were periods when we lived with them) and they went to the same school where my mom taught, and they never charged me. My mom was offended when I said my kids were old enough to be dropped off at home alone. They never wanted a dime. Matter-of-fact, I've had to stop telling my mom about expenses because after I got off the phone with her, I would get a notification that she had sent me money to cover whatever.
The difference is the day care has “licensed professionals” and you’re also paying for whatever extracurricular things the daycare provides so the late fees can be charged accordingly not the same for a random person but the judge was still nice and did what he does for landlords and no one is obligated to watch children for free

Honestly,if a person owes money to another person and is able to pay what they owe of them on time;but don't pay them what they owed them,it is stealing;so they owe double of what is owed.See Exodus 22:9.

Why can’t they sue case workers? Is that even a thing? Because yes law has come a long way and you can sue the state for any violation of rights from police but the social workers are getting outrageous and doing things that should be illegal. I’m just confused

Shiidddd in DC they charge you a dollar a minute when you are late picking your child up from daycare or any aftercare. She already has them kids 10 hours a day so for them to be late, picking them up knowing I have to take care of self and recharge for the next day to take care of your children …….$15 a day for a late fee is reasonable.

Wherever the kids were, they were displaced from their natural environment. That within itself would be traumatizing for kids who's used to stability.

The defendant's wife didn't pay the plaintiff because she felt it was for the children. If the defendant isn't paying child support but taking the mother out,he feels that is his support and the wife felt she deserved the money.
The plaintiff needs to back off any relationship with defendant.
I feel the defendant's wife is behind this,so she can get more money. She probably planned it and put the plaintiff up to sue the defendant ,and they split the money.

Yeah the cos people taking her was from the daughter acting like she was in an car accident. They believed the kid so it didn't matter what the parents were talking about. Sad but so many times ppl are made at the state for not doing anything for the kids, but that worker thought she was protecting the kids from someone who had a car accident with the kids and lied about it

Either way, one of them owed her money, and BOTH of them was willing to shortchange her after she provided a safe place for the children while they accumulated income that they were surviving off of so that’s not a far reach to believe that they snatch those kids because of suspicious behavior, and that bruise is probably the last straw before another adult outside of the environment decided to step in and conduct an investigation not that CPS is not a bunch of bullshit but some kids go abuse for years because the parents seem like they got together when really they are just a piece of shit adults who have each other’s back
