I think you are right. Do away with police and disarm the public so that all of the criminals that they have let out of prison can do whatever they want and a lot of them with guns. It would just make illegal gun sales more popular. Let's face it, seriously doubt that the drug lords and criminals get their guns through the process of having a background check.

One thing that is missing here is if we go back to the 1950s-1970s, we had a real mental health system in this country. But our state governors shut it down because it was so expensive. Back in the late 1960s, I watched my mother, a county social worker director, send off dozens of mentally ill people to state mental hospitals. Most of them were sent for an evaluation and if they failed, they stayed there for a long time. No early releases. Now we are seeing the results of decades of refusing to deal with mental health, shutting down state hospitals, and setting the crazy back on the streets.

We had rifles and shotguns in my high school back in the 80’s we knew that there would be consequences for using them, we had a lot of fights and never had one used in anger. Todays kids are convinced that the only way to settle a fight is to shoot each other, like their “music” stars show in their videos along with drug use. Time to return to the old days where criminals are tried and given hard sentences (not the slaps on the wrist) they get today

Address those issues, based on evidence and historical record not American propaganda.

Then the lack of mental health facilities. I live in a fairly wealthy area and there’s only one state run facility that’s pretty good and does except some ppl for free into the rehab program, but the rest of it and outpatient services after the rehab is expensive if you don’t have insurance. And for the outpatient services, they expect ppl to show up 3 days per week at $75 per visit, plus you pay for your meds(which they now have onsite), but the times to be there are 8-11am or 1-4pm which takes 9 hours of work away from ppls jobs not including drive time and $225 per week… They really need some better options than that

It seems 18 year olds then we're a shade smarter than today. Today college age kids don't know what a woman is or what restroom they belong in. Some young men think they are girls and behave as such! College age people are completely ignorant of American History of their responsibility to society. Most have never done anything in their life to contribute to society. They sit around and play killer video games and wait free stuff! This generation eats Tide Pods, blame others for their own failures and cry if they don't get their way! Yes! I argue that a devoted father is even more important for the child and his/her development than a devoted mother. When society over emphasizes the greatness of a mom to demphasize the greatness of a father, it's considering the gentle and emotionally responsive trait of a typical mother. I know that can be achieved through a father just the same. There is a nothing a mother can be that a father can't be, but it's rare to find a mother than can be all that a father would be.
Of course, two parents is the ideal, and the breakdown of the traditional family unit is our downfall. Just a response to that whole "father's aren't necessary" liberal mindset.

I hunt with an AR- 15, works good to. It's the only gun I have I hunt, I keep my home safe, target practice, and looks cool on my wall. So if they take away the ARMALITE -15 , then people will use shotguns , pistols, take them away they will buy them on the black market,. If they can't then they will google how to make a pressure cooker bomb. If a deranged person want to do something bad they will find away. So don't take away guns. You add security to the schools you take 4 guards trained to the fullest. Place one guard at each entrance assuming there's two entrances one watching the cameras, one walking the halls. Medal detectors, tach gear (in case they somehow get in the school ) medical stuff for treating wounds defibrillator's, things to that nature, schools would have enough money, but you know we have to take care of other countries 40 billion dollars should have went to schools for security. Not Ukraine, or go to the border people.
