This was actually a smart piece of TV production. Greg didn’t insult the audience by pretending nothing had ever been said between him and Brand. And he used most of the segment to mock himself, and make the main opening question among the cast, about whether they honestly felt he resembled an anus. He also opened up the obvious possibility of Brand returning, with him getting to know the regular cast. He masterfully handled a previous real life feud, and opened a new door with it. As opposed to something like the fake “feud” between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel. This is why Greg is #1
Self-deprecation is always disarming, but self-criticism is necessary for having any credibility.
Maybe, but he gave away the show when he asked Brand if he could edit part of his little monologue there. FOX loves when anyone mocks/insults Biden or any Dem. But god forbid Trump gets criticized. Brand wasn't having any of that nonsense, and he called out both parties. And all Gutfield and the other mannequins could do was "well uh, cough cough, you're onto something there..." That exposed the whole gimmick.
Greg and the Gutfeld show are always tremendous. Love Russel being on, and I REALY LOVE the 2014 banter being aired with Russ and Gut. It's okay to shift, or change, learn, become different. Just own it, acknowledge it, change lanes if you want, why is that so hard? There is nothing wrong with that, and it is very healthy. There is a reason Gutfeld is #1. I love watching both Russell and Greg. They both mix the news with humor, which keeps the news from being so depressing.
I stumbled onto Russel's pod cast sometime back, I enjoy his honest heart felt ideas, and his genuine love of humanity. I do not always agree with him, but it is refreshing to witch, and listen to opposing views without casting stones! Brillant!
It's wonderful to see people from both sides of political opinion find common ground and are open to both conversation and comedy.

I love Russell brand. I discovered his podcast a year or so ago and was quick to subscribe.
One of my favorite parts is how he shows close up his information sources...and he sites all of his facts. He is also beautifully articulate. It's refreshing to be spoken to as if I possess a vocabulary and critical, rational, and intellectual mind.
Gutfeld is funny, and I like how he doesn't speak to me (us) as if im some delicate flower that will crumble if offended. That is refreshing in another way.

Funny I did notice a change in the delivery of answers from the panel. However, Tyrus was still Tyrus. As genuine as you can get. The only thing that could have added to the panel would have been Jamie Lessow. But his dynamic is different from Russell" vibe. So maybe not.
