@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning The guy is a nutjob, which you will get with any sector of society. Speaking from personal experience working in a secondary school with a lot of Muslim kids until I retired 2 years ago, I can tell you that the vast majority of Muslims are lovely people. I had a blast working with these kids, and the added bonus now is if I walk in to any curry house or takeaway in my town, I am always treated very well, as I be will recognised by at least one former pupil!

I know a lot of Muslims, and none of them are like this man. He's obviously insecure and thinks everyone is out to screw him over. Sadly, you are right. Some people will look at this man and think every Muslim is like this. It's their loss. They could really get to know some fantastic people. It's like when a crazy Christian (someone who thinks he is) goes off on an anything but Christian rampage. Makes us all look bad. Have a great rest of your week!!

In Islam the there is thing called the pact of Umar , this is the code of practice by which Christians were controlled when under the control of Muslims. One of the rulings in this is that it was illegal for Churches to be maintained , that they were required to in effect rot away , and no new churches could be built. People really do not get the supremacy inherent in Islam , if you read the Pact of Umar you understand being a non-Muslim under Muslim control is kind of comparable to the treatment of Jews leading up to WWII in Germany. The notion of equality under the law between Muslims and non-Muslims in Islam does not exist, non-Muslims are at least 3rd class citizens.

I sent them for a tea break so I could speak to the person. They do not like it when you call them out for what they are and hate a person to person eye contact situation. I admit I was pretty angry and put my points across in an obviously forwardsome way to this person but they never tried to do it to me again after that. @@PartridgeExteriorCleaning did you knock on his door to let him know that potential dirt and whatever else will get on his car and property as a result of you doing your job? Did you even offer to clean up the mess you may make or offer to spray his windows, driveway and car once that job is done? No. You didn’t do any of those things. So you were more in the wrong here than he was. I had my neighbor do a renovation of their house which took 6 months, they used our front grass as a way point for all the construction work and the grass was damaged very badly. He came and offered to have a company fix it all for us after the work finished. Since he had the courtesy and respect to let us know and offer that, we didn’t even let him pay for anything and got it fixed ourselves since we appreciated the gesture. You gotta swallow your pride and admit you role in that altercation and not play the victim as thats not right or fair

09:15 - When the neighbor got all heated, my first thought was that maybe I could bargain with him. "Hey, if you let me onto your driveway, I can do my washing from this side onto the church property, containing the dirt and water, and then I'll spray down your window with Windex and clean it up real nice for you!" That seemed like a reasonable compromise to *me*! But then I remembered that people like this neighbor, can be totally, irrationally inconsolable when they've endured a perceived slight, and just want to feel outraged and persecuted, so I stopped fantasizing about how I'd respond in this situation, and remembered that I don't power wash stuff, and decided that the neighbor is an asshole.

During the lockdowns it became so apparent that there are many who are just angry, and they don’t know how else to properly express their feelings without disturbing others. It’s clear that this person’s equanimity is easily disturbed. This is the highest level of his existence. Unfortunate but it’s true. I hope he can learn to be more kind and not take offence with water being sprayed. Lots of love to you Sid. Thanks for being so lovely under the circumstances. I also appreciate the church being so forgiving about the wall not being completed. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

@@mrs.quills7061 I know a few personally, one being my father. He has many things to worry over. He requires a lot of assistance to function, namely with big tasks and projects. The hardest thing for people in this situation to understand is: they tend to be very narcissistic because they see everything as a problem before them and only them, and their equanimity is easily shaken with both great and small things. I try to hold back judgment because I don’t know what it’s like to be in their shoes. But certainly I’m well acquainted with my father’s situation and the dynamics it has caused in our familial bounds. Mental health is not all black and white or easily resolved. I feel very bad for the man in the vid. He must really struggle when a deluge of rain comes by, and when another loved one leaves his circle.

The old neighbour stayed outside to tell me where I had missed a part. Afterwards just had to wipe away the sand. His wife would do the windows “ than she also has done her contribution, huhuh”
