    This got me so excited to get back to the tying bench and even more so on the water. Can’t wait to try this pattern! Thank you, Norbert!

      Hey Korbin! Thank you, I’m glad It’s making you want to tie again 🙌

    You make it look easier than it was for me to make those wraps. I need another hand😂, but can’t wait to try it!

    Very cool. Was thinking about doing a worm on a shank platform. With weight at different parts depending on the desired action. That chenille looks perfect.

      Thank you, yes plenty of possibilities!!

    😶That looks so wrong and so right at the same time. But at the end it's amazing

      Yes , not much “tying “ involves there but the results are pretty cool.

    That thing looks fishy.
    Changing the amount of wright and foam should make it fish where you want in the water column.
    The foam at the head could be tied on to make a gurgler, popper, or even a shallow diver/wake bait action.
    Thanks for the tutorial.

    Nice looking pattern! Does it hold a lot of water making it heavy to cast ?

    • @NorbertRenaud
      @NorbertRenaud  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, yes it does hold water , that’s why I don’t tie them too long of fish them on a too light set up. Experience with the amount of material and size of your hook with your rod/line size

      @@NorbertRenaud Thanks, was thinking a heavy 8 wt would be ok, but probably not something I’d want to throw all day. Going to tie a couple to try, maybe even do some in a synthetic chenille for a lighter water shedding fly .

      @@OldVetUSN72 8 weight should be no problem 😉 tie a few as they don’t last too ling 😉

      I was wondering about durability. Will probably grab some of that material to make worms for carp, already got a few ideas!@@NorbertRenaud

      @@99loops durability is pretty 💩 … but it’s super cheap to tie ..😉

    Does the foam at the front and weight near the back of the hook make it sink vertically rather the horizontally?

    • @NorbertRenaud
      @NorbertRenaud  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea and it help to keep properly and the foam is to slow down the sink rate 😉
