I got an early code for this game but was never told i had to talk nice about it or anything. I just generally like these kinda games and think that while a lot of the criticism is deserved there is cool stuff about the game. I personally had a lot of fun and thats really all that matters its just a video game its not that serious lmao
dude, your channel is becoming one of my favorites for game essays/stories!
i no money
hey descriptions messed up, editors mispelled btw.
Bebo’s commitment to filming on-site will never cease to amaze me
Might not agree with everything in this one but I genuinely appreciate you stepping outside the accepted opinion of gaming youtube. The dogpile can get so relentless sometimes that it doesn't feel like anyone has opinions of their own.
honestly most of the time dogpilers don’t
@@wh0mst It's almost like there is a cause and effect for not treating your consumers well.
I bought the collector edition it’s a mid game bro, but if you’re a Star Wars fan like me, you play anything that comes out:(
@@wh0mst thank u bro I definitely did not set out to get involved in gamer controversy hahah. I never care enough to argue I just had already written my video before everyone started getting mega angry LMAO. Truthfully I just kinda formed my opinions on the game while playing it early so I did not have the masses to influence my opinion. I love open world games and I’m not hard to please so this one was an easy W for me. If I knew it’d get this much hate I probably woulda skipped this one just to avoid the bullshit.
@@bizlychannelYTso slay homie 💖
This channel is literally a (not so hidden) gem, but this still deserves SO MUCH MORE RECOGNITION. One of my favourite channels, HANDS DOWN. 🔥
yes, first time I've seen the channel, I appreciate this video far more than I appreciate the game
Literally just commenting so our king here gets more engagement. I mean look at all that editing work! I wasn’t bored for a single second of this vid!
Not gonna lie. After playing it and refunding it.
This video is gonna be an uphill battle man
Did you really get to refund after playing ? Lol
@@overnightavenger1470 Idk how it is on other platforms but Steam has a 2 hour window where you can refund it if you’ve played it 2 hours or less
@overnightavenger1470 on steam if you have less than 2 hours in a game then you get a refund no questions asked. After 2 hours you have to give a reason. Steam is lenient anyways and you could just call the game trash and they'd give you the refund
“playing and refunding” so you played like 2 hours 😭
@@WHIKKEDDDD Ever heard of physical copies ?
They exist and have a better return policy where I live.
The world and the environments are cool but after 5-10 hours the cracks really start to show. There’s tons of bugs and it’s really lacking in interactivity. The combat and enemy AI just plain sucks. They didn’t make the stealth mechanics interesting or engaging even tho stealth is supposed to be a big focus. The reputation system is shallow and is extremely easy to game. I think it needed at least another year of development to iron out these issues and make the world more immersive.
I'm convinced Ubisoft just lost the ability create a good stealth mechanic. Recent AC games don't even do it well.
@@henribobzin5903 That went away with the team that developed splinter cell.
I played on the hardest difficulty and didn’t die except for a few bugs and crappy hit reg the story is not that bad I don’t like the dialogue too much but I just feel like if the AI was better and the gameplay was a little more smooth. It’d be a 8/10 game but for me It’s a 5 or 6 in its current state
Another year wouldn't have helped, this game needed an entirely different studio to develop it for it to have any chance of being decent lol
Tbh, whenever i see that a game is made by ubisoft, i just automatically dismiss it. And you can't really blame me. They've been making the same generic slop for the last couple years. Glad people enjoy their newer games, but they just arent for me.
Last two years? They’ve always made slop, old assassins creed games aren’t the gems people think they are
@@KidFlash11606 They were gems for the time, the problem is that Ubisoft hasn't evolved as a studio since then. Bethesda has the same problem.
Save us rayman, save us from Ubisoft slop 😔
As someone who has played most of the recent Far Cry games, Outlaws is a *huge* step up in terms of Ubisoft open worlds. I know it won't change your perception of them, but I just wanted to put that out there
@@Seoul_Soldier yeah sorry I could’ve worded that a bit better, I actually meant exactly what you just said, I meant that they shouldn’t be looked at as what assassin creeds should be, not that there terrible but they just wouldn’t be good today and that’s why I hate when people say assassins creed should return to its roots because that would just be lazy, instead they should be like most studios and make sequels that surpass their predecessors.
7:09 says "NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS, CLONE WARS IS PEAK"
Geek (editor) threw that in there just to remind y’all
jrwi clip in my star wars bizlychannel video? today is a good day
getting the guy who made the music into the video for a joke was so funny I probably lost my shit more than it called for
I was one of those who was very optimistic about this game, hoping it would be like the Guardians of the Galaxy game where before release everyone was hating on it only to see it was actually brilliant upon release. With Outlaws, after the 45th “Sneak by everyone and don’t get caught or it’s game over mission” I realised nah, the game was just genuinely bad.
Criticizing*. Why do so many people these days use the word hate out of it's definition. Vitriol is a word that is defined as harsh criticism. Hate is much more than harsh criticism. Hate is like the people that bully, riot, destroy and kill. Not people talking bad about a video game.
@@buttermilk5364people telling other people how to talk are annoying.
Sorry, but saying the Guardians of the Galaxy game is brilliant is a bit overexaggerated, isn't it? I played it for a bit and found it very numb. Most of all the enemies, which were mostly just bullet sponges.
See my perspective here is there are plenty of games that utilize that kinda mission structure and people love it. It’s just not for everyone and I think the marketing really misled many people about what to expect. The more I think about it everyone I’ve talked to was basically expecting Star Wars red dead redemption which really is ubisofts fault for talking about this game like it was that. What is here is dope for what it set out to be. Combat definitely needs a fix but it is 1000% fixable with an update.
Also guardians of the galaxy went so hard it’s not even funny I loved that game.
@@bizlychannelYT fair enough, at the end it's just preference. Personally I have a lot of problems with Outlaws, and the enemy's of guardians of the galaxy boring as they mostly were just different shapes
I don't think Outlaws is a good game and im usually a fan of most of the Ubisoft games i've played but everyone is free to like whatever game they like and Bizly is great so i'm here to support this lad.
Cap it’s bad (I haven’t played it)
Give it a chance you'll love it (I won't play it)
At this point it's better to let the game fail so it can be another reminder for executives to make games that can actually make both parties satisfied, rather than to continually divide us with content that slowly caters to less and less people over time, or attracting more people with lower standards at the cost of the core audience. People who enjoy the game shouldn't see it as a loss since the game's failure shouldn't have a material impact on their overall experience anyway, so we're all better off seeing ubisoft making a correction from a well-deserved failure
I honestly think it has what it takes to be game of the year. (If it goes on gamepass i will consider trying it)
Bro wtf are these comments... You all should know that it's a very good game (not that I'm going to play it)
@@MiyamotoMusashi16 shut up and consume
I haven't played it but I can still guarantee it still garbage 🗑️ and it ain't worth $70.
It’s immersive as far as the world of Star Wars, (Tatooine for example) I’ll give it that.
Bro is almost up to 200K subs now!! Yeh-yey!!
bizly is cooking so much that he's gonna burn the house down
(Edit, beat the game, time to finish video) I'm not finishing this video till I beat the game. I have over 40 hours in outlaws, and I stand with you. This is my new favorite Star Wars game. I enjoy the story, exploring feels great. I've spent over 10 hours on Tatooine ALONE just sight seeing, and easter egg hunting. Some of the mechanics may be bad, but the world, the details they put into the game, make it a literal gold mine for Star Wars fans. I enjoy the story so far, I absolutely despise the platforming, I love the blaster, the speeder, the ship, and all of the experts you meet along the way. Thank you for making this video. It's about time someone stood up for this game
I love the style of this video. I've never seen someone putting himself in the game they're talking about. Keep on the good work
His Bioshock vids are what got me into his channel, Photoshopping himself into Rapture was funny. I liked it.
Im honestly surprised this game added another small marketable sidekick when the commando droid wearing a trench coat is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen
Im really glad to see a break from the hostility towards this game, I'm personally a huge fan of it, I enjoy just living the life of an outlaw, taking odd jobs before a job gone wrong forces me to go to another planet. I feel like the main complaint people have about this game is its by ubisoft, but its an enjoyable game. Its by no means revolutionary, in fact id argue the game in terms of mechanics is probably very common, but its dumb fun, its a game I can boot up and live in the star wars universe for a little bit, have fun doing contracts. Glad to know at the very least Im not alone in admiring the scenery of the game.
Hey look mum! Joyce Byers is in Star Wars now!
when bizly uploads i get all giddy
Beebo must be an Alpharad fan cause that sponsor music was real familiar lmao
>undertale music
>"is this an alpharad reference?"
Alpharad = Toby Fox?!?!?!?
Ubisoft: You will not own your games and you will like it.
Also Ubisoft: Pls buy our overpiced games with content locked behind a paywall!
That is also a buggy mess. Please buy. Now.
There are so many half-baked, done better elsewhere mechanics in here, which is objectively disappointing. BUT I had lots of fun along the way and that's all that matters at the end of the day. Would I recommend it to all my friends? Nah, but I'd defend the great 30 to 40 hour experience I had by giving it a chance and ignoring the wall to wall bad publicity it's getting.
i love when beebo roto's himself into the scene and is like picking stuff up in the game world, seems pretty simple but i've never seen anyone else do it on youtube and i love the vibe it adds to already comfy video essays (like all bizly vids)
My main problems with this game are, that the gameplay is just plain boring and bad, especially the stealth gameplay and AI. And that the world just feels dead, there's no dynamic anything to the NPC's. You either got the random walking NPC's or the NPC's 'doing things' which is basically standing at a market stall or talking in a group.
But there's nothing dynamic about the world at all. Yes the game looks great and they absolutely nailed the Star Wars look, but to keep me engaged in a game, you need more than a cool looking world. I want good gameplay and that is unfortunately lacking.
Glad I just paid for Ubisoft + for a month instead of buying it, because this game is worth 20 dollars at best.
0:44 for a second I thought you were gonna say “this video is sponsored by Ubisoft”.
was actually boutta laugh
That woulda been so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same
No offence to him, I love his videos but the game is like seventy quid and he got it for free from ubisoft? At that point it's pretty close to being sponsored, I feel like you're way more likely to love a free game than if you spent Seventy Dollars on it
@@funkymanvibing i know i aint like everyone but paying for a game actually makes me more inclined to like it, because i actually SPENT money on it, like i pirate games, and get bored of them 5 mins after and dont feel bad for just not touching them again, cant rlly do the same with games ive spent 6 hours worth of work for (other than refunding ig)
I bought a sausage roll from a bakery this morning and they claimed it was "sausage, cheese, and bacon" but it was just a warm hotdog in dough with microwaved bacon and cold cheese. I was robbed, Bilbo
I actually feel similarly about Sonic Frontiers, I’d honestly say it’s pretty objectively bad but I personally had a lot of fun with it. Something I think many people forget about this hobby is that you’re allowed to like bad games, and you can criticize them for being bad just the same. Great video bebo
SONIC FRONTIERS (WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING THE TITANS AND PRETTY MUCH ONLY THEN) IS PEAK
The boss fights make the whole game worth it
You actually got me curious about the ending but then i realized i dont want to play it but good video overall as a video 10/10
The production value in these videos is insane, matching your irl camera and positioning to look as if you were sitting on a Star Wars cantina is amazing
People have got to stop acting like 7/10 games are a curse to society. This game is fun! Not everything needs to be Baldur's Gate 3 lmao
Yeah I agree... but for $70+ dollars (even more where I live) it just isn't worth it for a game that is 7/10. When baldurs gate is like the same amount of money for this games "standard" price and it's still only 7/10 is where I draw the line to a game being worth it.
This is true I just ignored all the hate & angry comments surrounding this game bc it’s mostly all just petty hate. I played it & enjoyed it.
I just wish outlaws was a better star wars game than what we got in 2011, and it fails everywhere but visually
Be cooler if they were though...
$70 game with a content locked behind a paywall.
Not me just stalking his channel for a new video
Oh ok then I will get it when it's like dirt cheap
Give it 2 months
The only way to enjoy Ubisoft garbage is at 90% off.
I really wish Disney let developers make M rated Star Wars games, the grit of the underworld just seems so sanitized in a T rated game.
Seeing how much editing and effort Bizly puts into these videos makes me wanna start making TH-cam videos
The amount of compassion this man has for video games and his channel is amazing. Everytime I watch him he always makes me want to buy the game right away and play it, it almost makes me feel like a kid again and I love every minute of it.
I like that you're voicing your own opinion despite the almost overall public view of the contrary. Keep it up man, I always love seeing a new vid of yours pop up in my feed
Just give her brass shock knuckles like that Wookie in "The book of Boba Fett". Minimum work for their animators. Dev. idiots... 😑
Travelling into the game shows some real commitment to your craft. Love your videos
Bizly is a way better little guy than like all of the ones they gave us ngl
Man i love your style of videography its so fun i love way of setting up shots where youre in the game it looks knowledgeable.
Beebo editing keeps getting better and better dayum
This might be some of your best editing yet. The way you integrate yourself into the gameplay makes the video SO engaging
No matter what you say its not gonna convince me to buy it, especially when they wanna charge insane prices for the alternative editions. Spending over $100 on a game is insane, and that goes double for one of this quality.
Hour long Bizly rant jumpscare, I love it
People get really upset when you enjoy something they didnt
I know nothing about this game but star wars makes my brain go brrrr
Interesting to say you liked this game the most this year when the Elden ring dlc and Hades 2 came out, those were mine personally
Don’t try to sell me bland
I agree about how people spread hate using 30 second clips and other things like that. But when Ubisoft gave you the game early, I have no desire to watch this video.
he didnt get paid and acknowledges at the end of the video that saying anything positive about this game is just gonna have him flooded with hate anyway, cut the man some slack
keeping yourself in your own bubble not hearing anyone's else's opinions, are you afraid of having part of your opinion changed?
So what I learned from this video is that people, especially those who never played it to begin with, severely overstated how bad the game is and is actually better - but that "better" is just painfully mid and is still painful for people hoping for a good open world game set in the star wars universe
What is "mid" to you? Because mid is like a 7/10 because most games that I play are a 7. Star wars outlaws is like a 7/10 as well.
@@egg_64. Mid to me in a game is a game that doesn't push for any innovation in the industry and just follows a formula. Like how many marvel movies have become mid.
@@buttermilk5364 Yeah I would say that's fair. I don't really need anything to be massively innovative for me to enjoy it though.
@@egg_64. That's fine. You enjoy what you enjoy. I love love me some mid horror movies and no one is gonna stop me from enjoying them.
@@egg_64.It could be a 5.5/10 when you think about it logically, while 7 is considered good. Mid becomes a 7 for most people because it could be a manifestation (i.e. a lot of games are 7/10 and a lot of great games range from 8 to 10)
I never thought that a Separatist commando droid in a big ass coat would even be thing that exists, but hot DAMN that is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in Star Wars
Bro i can't emphasize how cool and how well made your videos are. Thanks for making content
I really enjoyed it!! I got really good at sabaac to the point that when my husband had to play tables he'd just ask me to do it. There's A LOT they throw at you in the beginning mechanics wise but once I found the groove it felt better. Using Nix is a fun extra piece to factor in when sneaking about. Are there flaws? Yes. Is it a little clunky, yes. But was the end game worth every part? Yes. They didn't push too many legacy characters and I liked the new ones they added, I wish Kay had had more development personally but I still like her as a character. I think for ubisofts first stab at Star wars it's a good beginning and they have room to make it better.
The environments feel really great and picking up random quests just by walking through cantinas or stopping by a house or finding a random datapad with Intel on it is really fun and they aren't all the same thing. I really liked the one where they were like "go jump that big gap and I'll give you 200 credits" hell yeah my guy I will.
I have so much I want to say but I'm a woman who loves star wars so I'm limiting my thoughts to just this 😅
Not that big of a deal but that isn’t BD-1 that’s BB-8 (5:28)
I think that was part of the joke where its so easy to mistake all of them because every new SW entry has a new "little guy" that starts to meld with all the other ones
That was probably intentional, since the joke was about how "they do that too often"
@@-viscosity yeah you’re right my bad
yes... new bizly upload. yes..
JUSTICE FOR KOTOR OUTLAWS IS NOT THE FIRST OPEN WORLD SW GAME
guys he says its better than we've been told not that the game is that good
70$ ✅ Ubisoft ✅ Buying it ❎
This is becoming my fave channel love the editing
bro, tatooine is so unreal to me
like its just a desert planet which almost the entire film franchise always goes back to, where there is literally NOTHING interesting besides a town and the jabba palace on. People are supremely desperate all the time to escape from it, yet its one of the most well-known planets in all of star wars, whilst also containing such little story potential/set design tbh. At least jakku had remains of old imperial ships which was cool
There were many attempted open world Star Wars games in the past (Visceral Games was working on one right before they closed) but most of them didn't work out unless you count Fallen Order/Survivor, I guess the technology just wasn't there yet
I never thought this game looked BAD. It definitely needed more time in the oven and hopefully updates will polish some of the glaring issues. I wanted to try it for myself but have understandably been on the fence. This video has made me want to give it a try.
really loving the in depth long form content Bizly!! ❤
Having played the game myself it’s really just a classic Ubisoft game. If you vibe with it you’ll love it and if you don’t you see through the game for its flaws.
The Vanilla Skyrim effect as I call it.
Bizly could talk about any game and make me want to play it like "mud simulator"
Bros editing never ceases to impress me
Happy and blessed you had fun playing this game, but please dont assure Ubisoft and Star Wars by complimenting this objectively piece of trash video game.
It's not objectively bad. Just a little (very) rough around the edges. The hate on this game wouldn't be nearly as bad if people actually played the game. Its not as bad as people say. Objectively it is a fine video game. Not objectively trash.
@@egg_64. see im calling it trash bc of ubisoft. An example being, the notoriety system, its not even better than AC2’s system that was developed over a decade ago. The game breaks pacing all the time, there’s not enough freedom in an open world. I understand looking at it as a “fine” game but we shouldn’t be lenient. The game is trash per Ubisoft, open world, and star wars game standards. This is like saying Concord was a fine game.
@@gtc1554 It's still not objectively bad. I don't think you understand the concept of objectivity. You think it's bad. That in no way means that it is objectively bad. Nor is it objectively good. it's just fine.
@@egg_64. im pretty sure more ppl think it’s trash and should be treated that way, than it being considered fine. But I’ll admit i can change my vocabulary on that, ill say the majority of people think its a trash game deservingly so. I understand objectivity and think that the majority consensus should be given that context as objective, since if you really think about it most of everything is subjective.
@@egg_64. it definitely leans towards being more bad than good
The production quality of your videos is still crazy Biz. Very attention grabbing, and unique. Well done.
If your playing the game for the idea of it being a game and your open minded about it and looking for things to enjoy and not shit on while taking time to appreciate the artwork around you. Then ya. This games probably a alright time
I genuinely love this game. I have almost 90 hours in it. No, it’s not as amazing as the Jedi games, but it still really good
90?! Damn bro I have 45 and I thought I was addicted lol
I appreciate that you are brave enough to go against the currents of popular opinions in the video game space.
I’m loving all the videos recently! The editing is also so cool with how Bizly puts himself into the games that he’s talking about

Whoever was in charge of combat design high key sold this game from being a top tier Star Wars game.
how tf is ur green screen so good
I respect your opinion bro. Just because everyone says it’s bad cause it’s Disney or Ubisoft, doesn’t mean you can’t like it.
So you’re telling me you spent 40 hours on Star Wars outlaws, but couldn’t be bothered to get into Gwent?
Lmfao
Worst part is, Gwent is better than anything in this game...
Was not expecting Bizly to defend this game but I’m here for it
Man, these types of reviews are so enjoyable, and very engaging than other, traditional kinda reviews.
Also, ngl, I have a feeling this channel will produce a fallout New Vegas video which will result in it being this channel's Magnum Opus
You’re the only person in the whole world I’ve ever heard say they don’t like gwent in the Witcher 3 I audibly gasped
I pretend that Kay is a very human-like alien who grew up on a planet with a lot of mass and so it had powerful gravity.
So that’s why her hands are freight trains. It was the end of my immersion breaks and made me able to enjoy saying “Oh you BETTER not try it buddy! Imma f- you UP buddy!” and then WHAM WHAM etc.
Totally sweet.
Amazing game.
This is the greatest game, because it’s entirely a reference to my favourite starwars character Glub Shiddo
Here's to hoping that modders can make this game worth buying
“there haven’t being any open world star wars games” excuse me how can you forget lego star wars skywalker saga
The AI is laughable but the game is still tons of fun. Just rolled credits this morning.
Bro out here with a real opinion. I'm honestly with you I loved the hell out of this game top to bottom. Does it have problems? yeah of course it does, does it reuse well worn gameplay mechanics and tropes? yeah sure it does, but I just never gotten a game where I can hyper space jump from another planet to Tatooine, fly down to the surface and land in the outskirts of a desert settlement, walk to the back of my ship and hop on my speeder bike and seamlessly ride out over the salt flats, through canyons and over ridges and ride into Mos Eisley without a single visible loading screen.
There's plenty of problems with the game, and I reckon we all know they were really riding by the seat of their pants with this game development on this one, but there's also so much love and appreciation for the setting of Star Wars in the game and I really just enjoyed existing in this world they've created. I also don't ever mind stuff like Kay's karate kung fu super knockout chop in the game either, cos like any time you see stuff like that in the game it's usually honestly just following the style of Star Wars already. The amount of times a main character has bonked a stormtrooper on the head, or shot an explosive barrel, or stuff like that is a dime a dozen in Star Wars and to me that stuff just makes it feel like more swashbuckling silly fun.
But but it's a womyn, they are weak glass, they can't punch
28:40 heresy detected. Exterminatus deployed.
Gwent is love. Gwent is life.
if you haven't, you should play the Star wars: Jedi series! I've beaten Fallen Order about 10 times since it came out and Survivor improves on everything good in the series. AND they're working on a third one!! It isn't open-world (Survivor is almost, there's lots of optional sidequests) and they're both just beautiful games :3
OH YEAHHH BEBO UPLOAD
Star Wars Outlaws isn’t that bad, oh special thanks to the people who made it for the early copy 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
outta principle i ain’t supporting this game but respect on the video
As someone who greatly dislikes the direction Disney has gone with Star Wars I am appreciating basically what you said in the video, this does seem like a fresh perspective on a facet of the universe that feels neglected in terms of original stories. The only smuggler/bounty hunter/scoundrel anyone ever seemed to give a shit about (including the people making the movies) was Han Solo.
Even the few new characters in the sequel trilogy and extended media seem to usually just be a new jedi or sith so this is genuinely pretty cool. It's also what I've been begging Disney to do with the series. Stop hyperfixating on the main conflict in the universe and give us more slice of life stuff in a corner of the galaxy that isn't so central to all of that. I thought that's what the Mandalorian would be like till it got too popular and reverted right back to being about Luke and Ahsoka and other pre-established characters.
I haven't played Outlaws myself and probably won't since I'm not a big open world guy, but I can appreciate that Disney may be easing off of forcing every Star Wars story ever made to be about goddamn Luke Skywalker somehow
That interview was the best part of the video, no doubt.
Imagine faction system from this game but balanced out + nemesis system from Shadow of War. That thing would go hard.
