I had a tenant who kept a dog without my permission. It chewed all the corners of the kitchen unit doors, wrecked the lawn and chewed a hole in the middle of the lounge carpet. The cost of putting all this right was way beyond their deposit.
As far as I’m concerned my house my rules and that’s no pets you got pets go and live elsewhere, and before you all start bleating, I got stung twice 2.5k on carpets couple moves in with two little dogs well behaved 18 months later they move out and the stink that was left behind it was un rentable even after being professionally cleaned ended changing all carpet another 2.5k to replace tenant just getting over cancer had a dog so let them move in 2 years later they moved same thing mega stink sold that property rents and insurance doesn’t cover cost of replacing such items and that’s why I say no to pets
Me the same --- carpets - kitchen cupboards -- all the plaster at damage where they were jumping up when locked in -- noise for neighbours - mess and damage in the garden -- has happened 3 times and 400 deposit does not cover even a carpet & underlay for 1 room ;-( last one cost over 55oo to get to a reasonable level again

After replacing carpets with laminate flooring, I never had any problems because of pets.
Lovely Bibs!! Who could deny them a home??
Every reason a landlord has for refusing a pet can be EASILY contradicted.
Is not the pets fault is the tenants not cleaning the property, damage and smell
Please don't tell me there's a cat in a plastic bag in this video 😱
Yes, there is a cat playing under supervision with a plastic bag that has many holes on purpose as shown in the video.
Omg that’s still so bad
So you guys think that a cat might get hurt while playing with a plastic bag? Do you guys even have a cat?
not fair at all

Children can cause more damage than a dog. Also, pets are a member of the family.
