@CeeJayCee523 I feel you, but with the kids I work with I think it’s a good thing to have one of these events at least once a year or so, and work on strategies on what to do when X happens, it teaches them that sometimes life won’t follow your routine, and they grow up better equipped

Many years ago, when I was about 12, and my brother was five (1975), my dad got a huge bonus for a construction job he was in charge of, being completed well ahead of schedule. He and mum called my brother and I in and asked if we wanted to go to Disneyland. My brother and I answered simultaneously: "No." We've never really 'got' the allure of Disney. Yes, they are clever, but we've always thought them to be really tacky, and saccharin. Even my kid brother, as a child, never really liked them.

The clip could have very easily captured 3+ people's deaths, because of their stupid decision to stand/sit on dangerous rocks. Rogue waves are a thing, and it's possible that area is safe most of the time, but I still wouldn't take my chances going that close to the water's edge in those conditions.
I was about to comment something similar....don't climb on rocks when the seas are rough. You can get swept away or thrown against the rocks at least.....
