Sadly these are what can only be called kids toys, not unlike the cap gun I had as a kid, yet Nanny State Australia has determined that these are classified as a firearm in most states because they shoot a sponge bullet at snail speed about 2 feet in front of the shooter. Serious stuff indeed, wouldn't want these in the wrong hands. Such is the lunacy of a woke government... Sure there is an argument that these things could be painted matt black and used to hold up a servo, but really, anyone who is going to blag a bank is going to do it anyway with whatever weapon they possess whether real or fake. Doesn't mean that the many people who are attracted to these things are all going to do wrong. I think it's a step too far. Ditto gel blasters, BB guns, air guns etc etc. All stuff which used to be easily available in more saner times....
