- I’ve been putting this off for too long, but the day has finally come! We are saying goodbye to half my closet- that’s probably about 15 suitcases worth of clothes 😶
Im not a hoarder, i promise! Its just that I worked in fashion and beauty and was bound to accumulate all these things through the years. Don’t get me wrong, they are beautiful things. I just realized this past year that they should go to someone else who can make use of them, rather than stay inside a closet for the rest of their lives. (You can find them slowly appearing on / shopkryzzzie and get them if you are fast enough, they sell out super fast!)
Being a fashion blogger in the past, there was always this fascination with having a ton of clothes and a ton of options, so I never thought I had to get rid of these pieces. However, I’ve come to realize that I’ve lost the joy in picking outfits for myself just because of the sheer number of pieces I have. I couldn’t even find the pieces I really loved because they were buried somewhere in all the clutter. I became a lazy dresser, always opting for easy Sunday dresses instead of finding something that really made me feel good and confident. Well, no longer! I don’t need 10 options for the same piece. What I do need is SPACE. And let me tell you, what happened was kind of addicting. Hope you guys enjoy this one!

I really like how Kryz's content has evolved through the years. In this era of materialism, it's nice to have an influencer promoting an unconventional mindset - you don't have to own much to be happy. You've come a long way from your Lookbook days, Kryz. It's so nice to see you putting out content like this. 😊

I think that's a bit too deep. She's getting rid of things because it's too cluttered and she doesn't use enough of it. It's become hard for her to get stuff from her closet because she has too much stuff. Even giant closets like hers eventually gets cluttered. She will still get things she likes and purge again when it becomes too much. Nothing wrong with that. I just think you got the wrong idea because it sounds like you think she's inching towards minimalism when she isn't.

Ganyan din ako. Sobrang dali ko mawalan ng gana sa mga toxic na tao, kaya mabilis din sakin ang alisin sila sa buhay ko. Pero dapat once na naging ganun ka, need mo panindigan yung pag alis mo sknila sa buhay mo. This year sobrang daming nawalang toxic na mga tao sa buhay ko, yung di ko pa Inaasahan na mga tao na akala ko totoong kaibigan or kapamilya, yun pala masama na pala pag iisip against me. I thank God dahil binuksan Niya yung mga mata ko para makita yung totoong kulay ng mga taong yun.

Congrats Kryz! I used to buy organizers & such when I realize I’m not organizing things but only clutter and so I think carefully from now on of my purchases..a home with more space is more peaceful in mind (less choices, less worries) and would take less time to clean. Cheers to minimalisim or basically essentialism! :-)

Honestly, my closet is not even half of Kryz’s, but it took me like weeks ,months of organizing 😔the marie kondo way 😂 i’m so proud of her, she did it.

Love it! I try to declutter also regularly and I’m surprised that every time I do… I declutter more and more clothes haha you’ll find that what you chose to keep last year shouldn’t have been kept 😂

Good job, Krizzie! That was fast! I'm into my 8th month of clearing and cleaning my dad's stuff. He passed away Dec 31, 2020 and it takes a lot of time to sort his stuff and give them away, I realize things I need to let go from my own "collections".

When I heard that Kryz was planning to do some decluttering of her closet a few weeks back, I actually thought about decluttering my own closet too. I was able to let go of a lot of clothes that I had since I was in my teens pa hahahaha . I am a very sentimental person so letting go of a lot of clothes that I had while growing up was difficult at first, but seeing the progress that I made was satisfying and I actually plan to declutter every year para hindi na ako maghoard nang maghoard ng clothes hahahaha

3. True, printed dresses are easy to use without thinking of ways on how to style your outfit for the day but as time goes by, you get tired of seeing and wearing it and loses its spark along the way.
3. Your choices of clothes can change a lot when you become a mom and age.
4. Pandemic gave us a lesson that being a little minimalist goes a long way especially when you are just at home.
