Damn Andy, that idea was spot on legit, and a movie with that kind of plot would fit Jack Black as well as Jackie's style of acting, it would be a comedy/action movie. 10/10 would watch and eat a cheeseburger.

+deathninja345 I disagree. Each artist has their own style of fighting. I wouldn't say Jackie is way better than Donnie Yen. They pick a style of fighting and perfect it. But Bruce Lee did pave the road.

Jack Black is a spoiled rich man's son. Heir to a huge fast food empire. His father is appalled by Jack's nonproductive debauchery and gives him an ultimatum. Run a successful burger restaurant in the scariest dockside area of Shanghai or be disowned. Unbeknownst to both, their mother hires a down-on-his luck bodyguard (Chan) to discreetly protect her son.

Jack Black played it off so well. You can tell him and Jackie had some great ideas for a new movie but didn't want to leak it on television. He made that hamburger story on the spot!
Andy is the precision bomber of the Conan show. You almost forget he is there and then he suddenly swoops in with the funniest bit of the whole night.

Holy crap... Andy just nailed it with his suggestion! This would work EXTREMELY well in a movie format.
Also, Jackie and Jack are just fantastic people, and it would be amazing to see both of them in a full-feature movie. The Jack-Jackie extravaganza! Even their names have a double-cheeseburger sound to it.

That story is exactly the story of Jackie Chan’s dad who was a former spy and escaped from China to Hong Kong to Australia. His dad worked as a cook in the embassy in Australia.

@@jeffquinz2118 Yeah. His dad was on the nationalist/republic side of the Chinese civil war, against the communist. And so the communist won, obviously, and Jackie's dad was among many of those whom fought on the nationalists side that was marked for capture/torture, information(of the nationalists, their people, the important ones especially/soldiers/supporters, how many they have got, their funds and supplies be it food and or water, weapons) and death. He quickly escaped or fled to Hong Kong where he met Jackie's mom and they both had him and even before that they have children of their own separately from their own marriages that unfortunately had to leave behind, I think their spouses were dead and their kids were left for dead. They went their own way to Hong Kong, and met each other there, had Jackie, went to Australia briefly and then dumped his ass to Beijing years after the People's Republic of China was formed and building itself into a powerful and wealthy nation, rising above poverty, famine, the after effects of war/s and also, inflation + debt. Jackie's parents especially his father changed his name legally to avoid being recognised and captured after he fled and was successful in changing his identity and building a new life. But he's a hardened man and never really cared for Jackie. Hence Jackie never experienced fatherly love as a kid and doesn't know how to express his too to his own son Jaycee Chan. His actual last name is Fong. Jackie only took up his father's original last name/family name many, many years later in his 60s now to honor his family legacy and even went back to his ancestral town in China to visit the place and where his forefathers resided before the war. The Chinese civil war killed alot of people comparable to the world war/Sino-Japanese war. My ancestors fought in that war too and yeah, my great grandparents were on the nationalist side too. And defected to Southeast Asia when they saw the communists growing power and the nationalists losing. The nationalists themselves defected to Taiwan to build the Republic of China. I am part Chinese so yeah, that's where my Chinese ancestors came from. Southern China and they are nationalists.

Cheese Burger - The Story
*Beginning* - Jackie Chan is an ex assassin who escaped that life to live peacefully and anonymously by working in a burger restaurant. Jack Black is a simple minded guy with a big heart that loves burgers and all he wants is to make the best burger ever.
*Middle* - He hounds the manager to teach him how to make burgers until he finally gives in, leaving Jackie Chan to show him the ropes. They both have a hard time learning because of their differences but learn from each other and become best friends.
*End* - Jack eventually makes the best burger in town everything is cool until a new burger joint opens up owned by Chris Tucker. All the hype causes a lot of attention catching the eyes of the people Jackie Chan used to work for who are out to get him back.

He sees Jackie's act one night, and he becomes inspired. Jackie helps him see the beauty in life and Jack in return helps him with his career.

It HAS to be good. My storyboard professor told the class about the time she sat at a lunch/dinner table and ate with Jackie Chan and the other martial artist I can't remember. She said the two were comparing each other's stunt accident injuries over the year and laughing about them. She said he is literally one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, if not the biggest. I grew up watching his martial arts movies

This 6yr old vid recommended to me and now all I can think about after watching it is, why hasn't this movie been made yet?
Jackie is former assassin who wants to cook to get away from that life, and jack is a guy who has to provide for his son/daughter/kids, after the death of his wife.
They meet each other, at first they don't get along but later they learn to get a long, but they get in trouble because of jackie's past so now they have to save their own lives, and those that are close to them.
And I can't think of anything else so some comment how it should end
