Happy to see that the rear number plate is still Yellow background. Here in Cyprus they have stopped doing that. white number plates for front and rear. Does not look nice in my opinion. Great video as usual. thanks guys.
The Ka is also based on the same platform as my 2011 Fiat Panda and for a city car they drive great and hold their own on the motorway while still giving great mpg. This car is an absolute bargain and such a nice colour.
Its the daily trip to Kent Autos..... Wow, the KA came out beautifully, those joins in the rear quarter panel were flawless. How on earth did you manage that?! Great paintwork as well. And I'm sure everybody noticed the gorgeous model in the background at the start of the video - you must never sell the white RS Turbo!

A massive tip for you guys from us in Australia 🇦🇺. When driving and your front windscreen fogs up. Put your aircon on and your dial set to the desired temp. Your windscreen will de-fog in seconds. Trust me. So no need to record your awesome video with the windows down 👍🏻

Top job lads nice to see the job being done properly, I'm from Ireland and be in England a lot buying and transporting home cars, it shocking the amount of cars I go to buy with the wheel arch liner,trailing arms, flexible brake hoses that are covered in overspay and are not even catagory recorded cars, keep up the good work and looking forward to the next video on the abandoned focus, 👍
Chris and rob it’s the little things that you both do that we like when you was on the time lapse putting the KA back together Chris rather then use a duster and some spray on the number plate he used the buffer on the cordless drill. Classic if your going to do it so it well. You both are the nuts 👍🏻 good video keep it up 👍🏻
Great episode! Loved all the updates, shame about the micro-camper. I think you have to apply for it retrospectively as there needs to be a means of cooking, running water (and other tick boxes) before you can change it on V5. Would make a great series still! Looking forward to the Focus vid!

Another fantastic turnaround guys. Heard the Ka has slightly better suspension than the normal 500 which would explain why it drives a little better. I love the original Ka's as I learned to drive in one and they drive great, shame they mostly have rotted away

So I put it back through their auctions and made £400! I used copart for years and done several cars and enjoyed it most of the time, great t see you guys always happy.
You'll have no problem obtaining good money for the KA. Great car for someone. The painter who painted that rear panel did an excellent job. Rest of the car just needs a deep polish to give it the same lustre.
That is a great car for a beginner. I always think that, I know but the thing is, it'll be such a reliable car for a young person. Well done Chris and Rob for saving another.

The camper conversion on the log books been complicated for a while. However when the issue first arose back a couple of years ago the DVLA did not release clear info for a while on what they had to be. Going forwards it seems we can continue to convert as the insurers are aware of this strange move by the DVLA so they can be insured/used as campers still. (I've been dealing in Campers for a few years now)

Hi Rob, did you get the right wheelbolts? Bolts for an alloy wheel are different than bolts for a steel wheel.
