Never knew about maharaja ganga singh before. I always wondered who was that indian guy in famous Versailles painting.
Along with maharaja of mysore , travancore , and baroda he was someone like a Rajrishi and saintly monarch who worked for his people.
Not like someone who became the richest just by taxing its poor population.
