Definitely need to request some respect from comments, but definitely need to avoid spoilers. Not too many significant ones but still best to avoid. Not in my top 5 but absolutely worthy

I just binged it. It's not one of the best shows ever made imo, but it's very solid. I'm not sure why every other streaming service doesn't make shows as good as HBO.

This show is amazing. There aren't many channels reacting to it so i'm very happy you decided to. I don't if views to these reactions will be good enough but if they are not at least finish the show on your own time. It's worth it. I'm also hoping 🤞🏼 for a Ted Lasso reaction. If you need convincing ask Syntell he will tell you how good that show is.
I’d say first 5 episodes are slow, but if you really like well written shows then you’d have to stick with it and I can assure you it’ll be one of your favorite shows ever

This was me too. First 5 a bit slower but I liked the acting and writing, but after that it really goes up a gear and just keeps going up and up!

Why is it such a necessity for you to root for a character at all? The moment you root for a character, you will start judging that particular character as per your own standards of ethics and morality and you will completely rob yourself of the joy of watching ambiguity and morally complex characters. Be a fly on the wall and let the show do it's thing. Trust me, it's the best way to watch a phenomenon like Succession that is significantly better than Beef.

This show is seriously something else! The writing/performances are legit top tier
One of the best comments I heard about this show is that you don't necessarily get character progression. You actually just get more and more of these characters' personalities revealed to you. So it's funny when you are saying you pegged some of these people right away. Like fundamentally yes, but also, no.

This is the most divisive show I've experienced in awhile amongst my friends and who you root for. Love it!
This is absolutely one of my favorite shows of recent years but while I came to it when there were 3 seasons out, only once did I watch 2 episodes in a sitting. The ickiness, the pacing of the dialogue, the liveliness and emotional weight of the interactions, etc. really make every episode feel like a movie to me, I never have an urge to watch another episode the same day. It's just so much. So yeah I totally get how y'all feel, but yes it's absolutely worth the watch.

Whoa. I hope you like it. Not one character is miscast in this show. There are also no bad episodes. Very rare. But it’s a dark show.
Reading up on Murdoch’s over the years- pillaging The World Media basically, monopolising it here in Australia, the Leveson Inquiry in the UK, and of course what have done jn the US- watching Succession was such a surreal experience.

Heck yes! Best series on television in years! If you’re like me, it did take me about 5 eps to adjust to the visual style and the show, but then I was fully in.
Very excited and hope you stick with this show. It gets better and better. At the very least watch this first season and I’m sure you’ll be sucked in like all of us. The writing of the show is top notch. I sincerely hope you continue to watching this till the end.

I don't think characters need to be likable to keep watching a show. It's going to be hard for you to watch this if you need a likable character to continue watching haha. I have characters I like on this show but they aren't good people haha

This episode was actually directed by Adam Mckay, who did The Other Guys, The Big Short, and Vice. Mckay also serves as an Executive producer along with Will Ferrell.

Watched the entire show last month for the first time. Such a stressful show. Can't wait to watch your reactions.
Rewatching this after finishing the series, so many little things I notice now about how the whole premise of the show can get a bit misinterpreted at times. You will fall in love with these kids and hate them at the same time. Ultimately, they are what they are in this episode the entire time.

I actually quit the first time around because I found the baseball game thing with the kid so disgusting that I felt the characters were too awful to watch. I'm so glad I picked it up again later. One of my favourite shows of all time. 🌻
