Tent Assignment and Buddy System // Pathfinder Strong

When going to International Camporees or just another camping trip, knowing where all the Pathfinders are sleeping can make or break your weekend. Here are something that we take in consideration when assigning our pathfinders bunk mates. It will make things go smoother.

Hello, obviusly I always go down on the number of people for a tent but I like the going half rule for a big camporee. I always like watching your videos because they feel like real/acual thing we can do as a club. Hopefully can meet at camporee and trade some pins. El Paso, TX Western Eagles.

One thing that we do is to laminate tags, one for each Pathfinder, staff and staff dependents. The tags are color coded according to which unit they are in. Then when preparing for any campout the tags are clipped to the outside of the tent bag so each person can quickly find their tent. Once the tent is set up, they move the tag to the outside of the tent fly. This makes it very easy to find where a person is sleeping (especially in the middle of the night).
