DJ is such a great teacher. The way he explains how and why is helpful even for someone with the level of Mike’s experience yet understandable to people with a microscopic fraction of his training. Amazing 👍
First off any training that we can get even from a short video from the likes of these Tier 1 operators is absolutely unbelievable. Doesn’t get any better. I’m tuning in on anything these top level veterans are willing to provide. Thank you! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I cant say enough about how cool it is to see mike treated as a "new shooter" and his own excitement to be learning new things. Really helps me as an actual "basic shooter"(ive taken field craft pistol and carbine 1&2) to not get overwhelmed or fall into ego.
Perfect comment, man. "Always the student" is a great approach. I've watched all 3 of these guys check their egos and do the drills taught to them. So important and admirable.

Thanks again guys.. being authentic & admitting what everyone feels when they are learning firearms (a new firearm), the range, new equipment, new processes. Some of the best champions have fallen because they choose to surround themselves with YES people, instead of people that will drive and push them in the gym. Great video and I appreciate the free knowledge from some of the most experienced Warfighters out there!
I learned so much in this two part series. What stands out the most was your humility to be open to learn. Some with your experience think they already know it all. Thank you and keep learning.
While i never owned a Glock, I've owned several other pistols and went shooting yesterday and utilized some of these points being made with my new Sig. I shot better yesterday than i ever have with any firearm and attribute it to not only the Sig quality and fitment but to several pointers i learned here. Amazing video. A big thank you to Mike Glover and the guys from GBRS. You got a new subscriber!
Nothing but respect and appreciation for all you SOF guys from a retired naval aviator. I've been fortunate enough to have an up-close look at the SEALS and have supported their ops / training on numerous occasions from my HH60H. Thank God for you guys
The seal dude who did most of the talking seems amazing. He gives off the feeling of a chill guy at home depot but the knowledge he is dispensing is battle hardened. Genuine care it seems in the advice and doesn't give off anger tone nor a lax feeling. Clean cut and perfect, gotta look him up.
I love how Mike can say, "I'm not a very good shooter", and then you have an abundance of people who shoot at paper a handful of times a year (at the most), and think they are good shooters.
I start every class or match by announcing "I know what everyone is thinking....who's going to be the best shot and worst shot today?....don't worry about the second one because that'll be mine to own". It breaks the ice and helps me wipe my slate clean.....I'm there to learn and improve.
What I love about this video is watching a guy with your experience being nervous and excited doing this drill with a new pistol and being honest about what’s going on with yourself as you do it all. This was great. Thanks for being honest.

The biggest thing I took away from this besides watching Jedi's at work is how humbled Glover is and willing to take instruction with all his background. Awesome,
I thought it interesting as a Martial Artist that DJ mentions he trains himself to focus on the A Zone. In my training i was taught to do the same because it allows you to see both their possible weapons hands and their shoulder movements telegraphing intention and attacks. It allows you to observe more vital information using your peripheral vision and fighting against that tunnel vision.
I would give almost anything to be able to be around these guys on a regular basis. So much valuable knowledge between these 3 individuals. Seriously, Thank you gents, for sharing this with us.

Just bought a new laptop and one of the features of it is show little pop-ups when a youtube video I might be interested in. I love how Mike demonstrates that no matter how badass you are, you’re always a student. And him saying he was scared of the new trigger was awesome. Most people, especially pros, will not admit that stuff, and the fact he did speaks to his character. He really shows that even the best and most comfortable with guns still fear the power of them. He gives shooters a lot of confidence in their abilities and what they can achieve through simple reps.

Just picked up a full size X for 549. 500 rounds (maybe) through it. Traded in a 43x with some goodies and got 300 for it. I can’t help but fall in love with the natural point of aim with sigs. Glocks were and are forever my first love but the grip angle really is odd in comparison, with everything else lol
Dude not to long ago I bought a glock43x too and I feel it’s a bit small for my hands even tho my hands aren’t that big. And we just got the new sig’s M18 in the Air Force and I can’t lie they are some really nice pistols. I’m thinking about trading my personal Glock in for a Sig as well.
I'm a old jar head 94-98. I've adapted my shooting styles several different times during the years since I got out. I've learned from Seals and Rangers. Some cops have good knowledge too. I think the base I learned in the Marines and the hammered home base skills still are very valid. Then I learn how to improve through constant videos and drills. I really appreciate all 3 of you men for your knowledge and willingness to share. I'll always put something to test and add it to my kit if it works. This for sure works. Well done guys.
Great vid. Mike, the slide lock issues you had were probably not magazine related. They were likely your right thumb riding against the slide lock lever, loxking the slide in mid cycle. When we issued the P320X Carry to our agency, we saw former Glock shooters having issues with that. I myself had issues with it during the first hour with the Sig, since I was a Glock guy that had a high grip riding thumbs against the slide. Once I made the conscious decision to slide my right thumb over to the left a little, the Sig no longer locked the slide mid cycle. You mentioned you had that issue on Glocks so you installed the aftermarket lever. The same issue can happen on the Sig. I think the Sig is more susceptible to inadvertent slide lock for right handed shooters than the Glock, coming from Glock. Something to look at. 🤙🏼🇺🇸

To see these guys, true American Hero's, in a setting together providing information or (Knowledge Transfer) at a level that anyone with some experience can understand is absolutely mind blowing. Hearing them speak you can tell they are experts but do not exude any cocky attitude whatsoever. I can certainly say that GBRS and FieldCraft Survival are my favorite channels that deal with tactics and fundamentals. Glad to be able to put a face to the GBRS guys now that they are retired. Yuppppp it’s the humble willingness to learn something new! That excitement to have a chance to improve.

First off any training that we can get even from a short video from the likes of these Tier 1 operators is absolutely unbelievable. Doesn’t get any better. I’m tuning in on anything these top level veterans are willing to provide. Thank you! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Exactly! This info is priceless and coming from someone who just shot the x5 full, their instructions are beyond perfect. Their system just works!

Real Navy Operators. Direct but humble. And our host is fantastic showing we can learn from anyone at any time. By far one of the best training sessions I have seen.

The humility on display from each guy is edifying. This is what this "industry" of training should always look like. Mike, Cole and DJ ... thank you.
The fact that Mike is humble enough to be a new student, and admit his nervousness is pretty cool. If a guy with that much experience can, we all should be able to.

So much information!
