George is absolutely crushing the camera work while recording the Reese's planting.
Thanks to David for the save. Watching Sunday morning and David reminded us about Mother’s Day. I said “Oh Crap” and ran to town for cards and chocolate. Got them on the table before my wife realized it. THANKS DAVID!!!!!
28 minutes after posting, and I on it, love Sundays for these Ivers family videos.
Reese and all the guys at ivers farm, when you guys say go it is all out go like crazy!! So good to watch you guys work as a well constructed machine! You guys are such a joy to watch! You guys make me tired watching you! Yall are such a blessing to watch and are able to bring us along! Love your farm operations!
11mph planting,that's wide open roadgear on a 130 Farmall!.
Man those high speed planters are awesome to watch up close. I can easily remember we used an AC two row no til planter and Dad was flying if he could go 5 MPH. Usually planted at 3.5.
George sure is good with the electrical stuff, takes a good mechanic to troubleshoot 12V systems.
Northern Indiana is not dry at all, I would say in WABASH county around us I would guess only 10% planted, many of our neighbors haven’t even started yet, hopefully this week will be better, stay safe and thanks for sharing
I agree. I hope they get going real soon or be late harvest.
80% completed in white county
We're so wet in western Il that I can barely get on a lawn to spray. Another good video! By far the most transparent farming channel on youtube. Lots of great info on this channel!
Some family you are !!!! God and working men 👍🥇🇳🇴
Reese thankyou for Great Video Godbless you and your family
I think George should start a consulting company for mfg engineers!
My condolences to your wife
My Dad is 95 still gets around good and still keeps me inline which is a tough operation, sorry for your loss but he lived a long, good life seen many things...it's great to have lived a long life...Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry for your loss. Sending prayers.
thank you for the mothers day reminder... condolences
Mr Ivers, please clear the back glass where time allows so we can see better, I personally love to see the landscape beyond the fields.
I run a DJI T40. Have killed several cover crops
Of rye with it when conditions were too wet for the ground rig. I ran 40oz of roundup at 3gpa and have smoked it every time. If temps
Are cool you might have to bump the rate but I’ve had great luck with it.
I'm glad someone answered the question about drone sprayers/spreaders. An @IversFarms product review next Spring would be terrific! What do you think, Reese?
Go big red
Sorry for y’all’s loss !
'Zantastic' video!!
I was watching Ryan Hall Y’all with all the tornadoes. Luckily missed you again this year. I’ve only seen very small tornadoes in my area of north-central PA bc we’re surrounded by mountains. South of Pittsburgh, near Ohio border was hit last night.
great video reese goog to you geting it done
Love your videos, keep'm coming.
You have to get a farmer thats in a care place in give him a ride on the tractor that plants at 12 mph..Man that would be a suprise for him
Great video!! George can fix anything!
Thank you so much for posting all of this content.
Another great week. Stay safe.
I run the spiked Martins on both my case ih planters for years, closes the trench better in my opinion. Happy planting!!
My condolences to the family 😢
You guys are moving right along. I am interested to see what the new style beans yield this fall.looks like David is moving right along with the nitrogen applicator.hope you guys have a good week next week.
I am envious, here in southeast Mn. it is raining all the time. Planted one day since April 26th. Hope to go tomorrow May 13th.
Nice Vid!
👍
Mornin Reese and Happy Mothers Day too all the ladies in the family and gettner done
hi, there is a spelling mistake at :17, it says seasom 5, thanks for showing us how you make the food.
Sounds like it
I try to do everything in thirds on my tillage with deep till , minimum till and no till and when everything is perfect it's great but here are years when it's impervious overcome make whatever happen happen.
Drone sprayers running 2.5-3gpa are working to burn down rye early here in NY
Pretty sure you set the rate with the drone as well. Slows down to saturate more. Agri Spray Drones channel shows setting the drone up.
High 5 on the furrowforce. It’s a no brainer
Awesome work crew, can you do a walk Around of 715, engine bay an center section an stuff, id be curious to see what that tractor can pull weight wise, thanks for sharing
Thomas Farms in Tenn uses a drone sprayer a lot.
Reese can you get footage of the big Case 715? I know a lot of folks are really wanting to how it runs and maybe some info would be great buddy. Thanks for sharing your work content on farm.
Sorry I hadn’t watched till the end when I posted that. Thanks. Mike Mitchell in Canada has one ordered I believe so I was curious if it has the power to pull in his huge hills with big cart and wide drill.
Happy Mother’s Day to the moms including smoke show.
31:00 to 34:00 Watching this planter in operation makes me wonder what a farmer 100 years ago would say.
Love the videos. Why does Dennis use bigger tractor instead of one like you use?
B/c he's Bossman!....just sayin'...
Could be something to do with the planter having twice as many units...
Does notill and cover crops really slow you down 3 mph?
at the 33:50 mark, your outside left depth wheel was not turning at all .
You switched side dress bar manufacturer
No still unverferth
Watching the test trials is fun. Something I learned from watching the farmers for so many years. Plant several different brands & varieties to see what works best in our soils. Planted 30 green bean plants in succession last year, several kinds, not that it mattered. The Vet put my labs on a diet, so I grew all the beans to add to their food. I didn’t put one lb up for winter. They don’t care what kind of bean, tough or not. That & volunteer cherry tomatoes. 😂
So many case tractor problems on TH-cam, John Deere farmers seem to just keep running
iola?? I o la
These guys that seed at 5 miles a hour just baffle me. Theres no reason to go that slow. It’s like having two seeders being able to seed at 10 mph. Fields are looking in good shape.
Not every farmer has a high-speed planter. Smh.
@@captian34 really I thought every farmer had a brand new 60 foot seeder.
I have seen people with new high speed planters decide to seed everything traveling under 6 miles a hour. Guess they think it won’t do a good job or something. Travelling at 10. But I have tested Swedish g the crop at different speeds and the crop grows the same at 10 miles a hour compared to 5 mph.
I really enjoy your videos!
Your IH closing system has hydraulic cylinder? as in not powered by air? is that an upgrade?
Who is bethany? I'm confused I thought ur wife had a different name!
Bethany = smoke show 😉
I heard GREEN tractors grow greener crops????????????
You gat to bee kidding 🤔😁🧌🇳🇴
Surely true nothing runs like a Deere! 😊
Sure isn't dry in northern Indiana. Haven't seen anything going in the ground yet..
Southern Tippecanoe .49" this month and that was in many small showers, biggest single rain was .25. Most planting done here, lots of corn and beans up and growing well. Sorry to say not my first planting of sweetcorn, saved seed 1 year too long and germ was terrible, so no early corn this year.
