The Sleeping Dog Loop is but one of scores of unheralded hiking options hidden in plain sight in Southern California. Generally, if you have some open space without private property restrictions, then you have yourself an instant hike opportunity. This one has a well established use trail connecting all the peaks, making it a rather efficient loop hike. Come when it is cool for maximum enjoyment!
