    Great info on this bro. I've been so hesitant to use this for my long form films but I need to give this a re visit.

      Give it a try bro. I really think you'd like it especially if your hardware can shoot in 10-bit hevc (Unlike me with my S22 U 😆)

    Awesome video sir! Im currently trying out the demo version on my s24 base model.. i accidentally dragged the key frame interval slider.. whats the default parameter on that?😅 and i edit my videos on premiere pro, can you give me some settings i can start with for 60fps? Thank you!

    I did more tests this morning compared to 400mb to 1200 mb, and the difference is very small; a person needs to zoom in and nitpick to see the difference, so I would say 400 mb is the max at which it shows a good jump from 230 mb, so I suggest a person stick to 400mb. directlog

    How did you render the raw video at the end so fast? I have a oneplus 11 and the speed is nowhere near that. What were the export settings?

    • @AndroMatthew
      @AndroMatthew  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you're rendering out to h264 or h265, it should render fast because of hardware acceleration.

      Hey man. I either use warp stabilizer for handheld or a mobile gimbal.

      I hear it can record in 60fps but needs to be set in full sensor. Try the demo 1st and confirm, things might have changed

    It’s better to record in RAW image sequence and then save a copy in ProRes. Because, recording ProRes isn’t practical with hardware that isn’t natively programmed to accelerate the codec compression. Also, you get all the detail from RAW that wouldn’t be present when recording REAL-TIME with ProRes. Hardware needs to be designed and programmed for any codec. Otherwise, the hardware has to be insanely fast with nearly double the memory to handle its compression with brute force.

      I agree. In fact, in many cases, that's what I do. But I think it's a good alternative in cases where you want to save on storage on long shoots and still take binned 1080p prores.

    I don't understand Log videos. What do you do with the vdeos once recorded? Do you grade them? Thank you.

    • @AndroMatthew
      @AndroMatthew  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Basically, Log videos are video recorded in a way that keeps as much color data. And you can have a lot of flexibility to color grade them in post. If you're not into grading your footage, you can just record in Rec709 😁 that should give you a nice looking video that's good enough for social media and even editing if you don't plan to color grade.

      @@AndroMatthew What I do with my settings now is: direct log video, prores 10 bit, HQ, MCrawlog, I also rad there are MotionCam technical Luts but I guess they are for Raw videos...? Then I edit in Davinci or VN (on my phone) and try to adjust colors if needed. Thank you for your videos.

      @@AndroMatthew What do you mean by "bin"? (English isn't my first language).

    • @AndroMatthew
      @AndroMatthew  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's an option for binned video in motioncam. Basically, it takes your 4k video and uses the pixel around it to make clearer 1080p image. Use that if you're shooting in prores.

      It really depends, but generally more is better.

      Optimally, 512GB → I'm here
      Minimum 256GB
