OUTSTANDING!! I'm almost 74 and I still remember the time my father drove 45 miles one way to get us boys to help drag his buck out of the woods. The kids will remember that day for a very long time.
Cherish every minute with your Father. I lost mine a few years ago and we hunted together. I miss him everyday. Your dad acts like he is very proud of you and your accomplishments. This is what hunting is all about.

We hunted in the similar fashion(real hunting), tracking, leap frogging, walking parallel, just being out in the woods together. Many days we wouldn't see a thing, but I don't think it mattered. We just enjoyed hiking in the woods together and always looked forward to out lunch break. My Dad always made us egg sandwiches and they where the best sandwiches ever. It's been 10 years now, but those are some of my most cherished memories. Thank you Jeff and Congrats on a monster. 🤘😎

I love still hunting in the snow here in NH. Only got 1 huge buck 11/17/1987 and it was my first deer. Sam is still proudly mounted on my wall. A magical day.
Best of the best, my dad and I hunted together for over 50 years. Dad passed May 27th 2023. Last year was the first year we had to hunt without him. I doubt hunting will ever be the same. Enjoy these times as I know you do. Blessings!

I live on 100 acres in Western Pa. I remember my first buck and the joy I had harvesting it. I was lucky to have two sons who wanted to hunt. My most fun was watching them grow through the highs and lows of their hunting experiences. I celebrated more for their first deer harvests than I did my own. The joy on your Dad's face was awesome. BTW, I told each of my sons that the prepping of the dear would happen only on the first deer. They ably stepped up and did the dirty work on each subsequent deer. Congrats!! Great video!!
I hunted 2 seasons as a kid with my Grandfather and Uncle then started playing football which is during hunting season. So i stopped for some years. Got back into it 4 seasons ago. Shot my first Buck November 14th this year hunting with my Grandfather and Uncle in New Hampshire on my Grandfather's 80th Birthday. Other then the birth of my daughter by far the most special day of my life. He was a beautiful 9 pointer couldn't have ever imagined my first deer would be a big beautiful buck on my grandfather's 80th birthday. Seeing you hunt with your dad and enjoy such a special moment together was so cool!
Just found your channel... I have been hunting bucks for 51 yrs...I love your features w/Dad. I have not slept since hunting with him prior to my service. Never tracked a deer as we were grond-blind hunters w/no bait. I'm 62 now and after 3 heart-attacks, and a brain surgery, I envy you. ❤ Navy Vet. Who wants to help dragging those beautiful bucks back to the truck. So special for you to include the Grandkids❤❤❤❤

@jeff_doyle I was with my dad the last 3 deer he killed..in the 80s. One was a 307 yard shot from a bottom to hillside about 15 yards off ridge at our upper farm ..he used a old army rifle in 30/06 and open sights ..1 shot and down it went..he could really shoot..as kids we'd watch him cut walnuts off a tree with a 22. He'd take us squirrel hunting ..

I live in South West/Central PA. These tracking films have inspired me so much to go up north in both my home state and to the giant forest of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, to track these old monarchs. Next year will be my first out of state hunt and it will be to go track one of these bucks.

Glad you enjoyed it, the 10th rib is all good now. But I’ll say at one point I came back from moose camp very hungry, had a full plate of dinner and when I stood up it did something, maybe popped back into place but dang it hurt that night. From there on it was good.

I watched it earlier and I am still thinking about it. It's those out of the blue unexpected moments during hunting that you remember for a lifetime. And to have and to share with your dad. All I can say is WOW. Cherish that hunt for sure. HOPE to see you on the trail some day.

I watched it earlier and I am still thinking about it. It's those out of the blue unexpected moments during hunting that you remember for a lifetime. And to have and to share with your dad. All I can say is WOW. Cherish that hunt for sure. HOPE to see you on the trail some day.
