- This has by far been the hardest videos for me to film, edit, and post. But I think it's really important to step outside of your comfort zone in order to grow as a person. Honestly know how you feel. I never knew my father. I was taken from my mother when I was 4 years old she abused us and neglected us. she was also on drugs. I was placed in foster care and she died of AIDS when I was 6. I got adopted at 8 years old and I honestly can say I'm not ashamed. you telling your story helped me want to share my story. I'm sorry for everything you went through you are a strong and beautiful person. Thank you for sharing!

omg james i can really relate to your story i went through foster care for 2 years i was n 3 different group homes 7 foster homes a mental hospital. being seperated from my sisters was the worst thing ever. me growing up being bullied for being gay was horrible. i just love u and ur strory. i go by a little saying i say it to myself every morning..... I Know How You Feel My Mom Was Diagnosed With Cancer When I Was 5 And I Am An Dancer As Well And Was Bullied. My Mom Did Survive Cancer And Its almost been 10 Years Since She Was Diagonsed. Although She Survived NY Grandmother Did Not And I Never Met Her. Your Video Brought Tears To My Eyes And I Love You A Lot. You Insipre Me And A Ton Of Other People Every Day. Your Mom Is looking down on you from heaven and I'm sure is really proud of you and what you accomplished. stay strong

This video was really amazing and so courageous of you to put up! I can feel how hard this was for you to do but it truly is such a great example of making the most out of what you want in life. I can relate to you in many ways. This world is not shiny and beautiful. We run into terrible things in our lives but we have to learn to just go through it. Like everything, life is just such a fluid thing. It gets better, but it doesn't stay better. One day nothing could go wrong and the next you're the lowest you've felt in a long time. But it's so fucking worth it. And looking at it all, it's your job to choose if you want to use these experiences as your fuel to do great things or have it be the rock that keeps you from moving. Haha ugh idk I'm rambling but this video is really good and so important, thank you ❤️

Oh my,this made me low key cry! You are such a strong trooper! Don't forget that wherever you are and whatever you do your mom will always be by your side! I too went through a loss not that long ago and it tore me to pieces. Shortly after I found your TH-cam channel and it made me laugh and just feel better about the whole situation!!! James this video has completely changed my perspective on life. I have dealt with many chronic health problems my whole life and it was until I discovered the power of dance that I could be happy and smile again. Your positivity shows me that anything is possible and happiness is attainable no matter your battles. I am so glad that you found a good home to live in and I wish you so much success with TH-cam and life. I can't wait till you reach 5 million subscribers you deserve it!

Love you so much James!!! ❤ Before I heard this story I was already inspired by you, wanting to be like you, talented, funny, popular, handsome. Now after seeing this I have felt even more inspired knowing that after everything you went through you still come to school and make everyone smile 😄 I had a HELLA lot of bad memories and lots of family members gone from my parent's country's war (namely my dad being literally half an hour away from being burned in his house in his village witj his dad), but I used to use those as excuses for why I am the way I am. While it may be true, I still cannot express how much I appreciate you and love your confidence and perfection! Happy Birthday man, you deserve it 👏🎉🎂

James my story is similar to your I lost my dad when I was two he died in his sleep and by the time I was two and a half I've moved like about 7 times in foster homes my two sisters who were 6 and 5 years older then me lived in one foster home then eventually got adopted and I moved in with a lady who was 26 at the time and eventually got adopted 6 years later but my little brother and my sisters never had access to see our or she was so embarrassed that we couldn't live her so at age 9 I met my mom for the first time in 6 years it was so exciting my sisters flew in from B.C. Where they lived and we all had a big family reunion but when I saw my mom I knew she wasn't healthy so after we visited her for like 4 years and she was in the hospital on and off because of alcohol but towards the end of 2016 in November we got told she was in the hospital so we went down like how we usually do then went back home that day but the next week my adoptive mom was on call and she got called in and me and my brother who was one year younger then me went to my adoptive grandpas farm for the two days but my adoptive mom called and she told me that my mom is getting sick and they think she has a week to live so she ask me if she wanted to leave work and come get me it was about 10 at night and I was like ya sure so 30 minutes later she came with my younger brother and I got in we drove to the city where she was at which was an hour and a half away and by the time we got up to her room it was 2 in the morning but my mom and I had a good visit but she didn't look like she was going to make it and she was telling us that when she passes she's not or jump at us like Casper we had a good laugh about that but the next day visited her with my oldest sister and her boyfriend and his mom my mom got moved into a private room so we visited and by the time we were leaving I hugged her by and we left the next day I was just waiting to get the call but it didn't happen at school that's all I thought about and everyone asked me what's wrong and I told them nothing so the next morning I woke up 30 minutes late for school and when I got to the living room my mom was sitting on the couch and she told me that my mom isn't in pain anymore and that she is my guardian angel and I was just so sad when told me but like how you said you shouldn't be ashamed on what your childhood was like so I want to say thank James
