    Thanks for the video. Will need to do that soon(ish). I love those handlebars. They are sweet.

      @@Jimbobbington do you have someone custom paint them? Or did you buy them that way? I have never thought of bars as an accent color, but that looks really good.

      @@jasonshortphd deanspeed will custom powder coat in any color! I originally bought black, but loved them so much I bought a second set in turquoise

    Jim great video as always very detailed. Just one thing I found if you put the front spark plug on a 6inch extension and then through the hole at the front where the old air box connected you can easily get the plug to where it needs to go. Hand tighten with the extension and torque up

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I'm pretty sure that hole is there for exactly that reason. My issue was I only had like a 10" or a 4" extension 😆

    Do these plugs work on a 2020 scout bobber sixty?

    What size socket for spark plugs? Also what gap did you use?

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  ปีที่แล้ว

      As I stated in the video the gap was .030, I believe the sticker was a standard 5/8, but you can usually buy spark plug sockets in sets with both standard sizes.

    What intake do you have on your bike, is it the performance air intake from Indian?

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  ปีที่แล้ว

      No sir, I would definitely not recommend the Indian stage 1 intake. I have the Arlen Ness Torque Box, very similar to the S&S intake.

  • @MessyGarageBMW
    @MessyGarageBMW 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good video. So you will have to remove 1/2 of the frame if you have the stock intake and also if you have the Indian performance intake.

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah all the more reason to not have any oem intake!

      @@Jimbobbington I hear ya, but I'm actually pretty happy with the improvement out of the indian performance intake. Plus it gives me something else to do if I change to something else later. more content.

      Yep. It works great. Enough air coming in with the exhaust and reflash and this thing still flies like a rocket.

    Did you change your battery? Apparently that’s a big issue with the scouts.

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, I'm still rocking the stock battery. 16 months and 6500+ miles and it seems to be doing fine.

    • @TerrinLee

      I replaced mine twice. Its a 2019. Stock battery died around October or so. And then I replaced it with the same stock brand and then it died about two months ago. Went with a duracell this time. We’ll see how that goes.

    I use the plugs no one seems to like. E3. I have them in my Victory, Log splitter, chainsaw and lawn mower. No issues whatsoever. And when taking plugs out to check them, they are not carbon up at all. They burn clean.
