You summed Freddie up beautifully. For me Freddie had a natural ability, like an actor getting into character, actually becoming the song, he never just sang a song, his whole being expressed a song.
This was the very last video Freddy was able to act in. He was in a lot of pain during those times but always showed strength and courage to continue on and create music and art with his band.

As several others have said, Freddie was very ill at this point. The performance here is even more impressive because he had lost half of one foot and even the movement of his clothes on his skin was painful. And you have to give big props to the rest of the guys for being able to go through his illness with him and perform all the music Freddie still had to give all of us. He wrote the song Barcelona with famous singer for The 1992 Olympics, but unfortunately he passed in 1991. In the Olympics the did have a giant screen with Freddie singing Barcelona!! Must this and. But you were feeling the groove of the bass and drums, with your whole body, loving the silky-ness of his voice, commenting on the quality and professionalism of the group.
