not bad knowing its upgrade from 16x to 242hp 2L .pricewise its kinda overkill imo 180k a bit too much for a KIA car theres other option of other sporty car brands with that current pricing
Az Lateef last time it was Infinity... This time they had an option for Harmon Kardon premium surround sound system but must have been really expensive (13 speakers and a sub). Nevertheless the basic speakers are 6.5" and sound good... Bassy it is... Unlike the pathetic ones on Hondas...
the climate control and the gearbox area are strongly inspired from an Audi a4 (2007-2014) , like wtf ? can't they design a car on their own ? Here a picture: www.motorbeam.com/wp-content/uploads/2014-Audi-A4-Interiors.jpg the speedo is a mix from the current merc C-class and a 2012 Audi A3 and many other elements where copied from BMW too, wow they really can't design a car on their own, just copying, but i'm not surprised
Korean car always show better in technically but not perform well practically, the technology for Korean car is still way too far compare to Japanese car. Re-sell value also very bad.
Not as bad as you might think. I owned a Hyundai Sonata I bought new in 2006. In Feb. of this year it was totaled in an intersection wreck. When I bought the car I paid $16,500. The insurance company paid me $6554 for it. This a ten year old car. So in effect I only lost $1000 of value for every year I owned it. Not bad.
In developed countries people don't expect to own a car for more than 2-3 years, so reliability is not the main concern and LOOKS sell more than any other variable. That's why Kia is hitting so hard in America. They are making the best looking cars.
Wrong wrong wrong. My Sonata was ten years old and the only problems I had with it was a throttle body that was replaced under warranty and one ABS brake sensor also taken care under warranty. I would put the quality of any current Kia or Hyundai against any Japanese or American car.
this car is an awesome looking car
Is that a BM? Wow, good job KIA!
Hai. You did not mention about the phone wireless charging.
243hp for 180k. Now that's a steal! Can accelerate faster than C250 Merc. Nice car to speed at toll plazas and traffic lights :D
Let's just hope they improved the gearbox, with huge power, gear changes are important too
They updated it in this years Optima
Anywhere know where I can import those tail lights & front lights ?
3:00 7.4 seconds?!?! If only we had it in Singapore as well. But the 2.0l Stinger makes you question buying this.

Best car
are they still using Bose speakers?
No branded audio system this time round, I'm afraid.
Too bad, last time K5 used Bose speakers...

You do realize that the head designer of Kia used to work for Audi right?
AOTanoos22 Funny you! LOL 😂😂😂

The reliability might not be as good as japanese ones, but way better than German cars. The looks is the best you can get on any brand.
To me, I will still go for Japanese Car anyway. Reliability still my main concern. All those design and spec is still not my consideration.
Maybe in your country but not in Malaysia. I am very sure the resell value is really bad in local market.

had bad experience with Korean car no matter how "fancy"or "high tech" look they are , the durability still far beyond ...
