Infinite world is great but it can feel unbalanced thanks to most characters special attacks not featuring the mini game. Despite that, I still love it.
I remember burst limit getting bunch of my friends into the DB series. Also it was my first Dragon Ball game. I'm glad it's still just as good as I remembered.
Shin Budokai 2 is love. I played that game at a competitive level and seriously the game took a big leap from the first game, storywise as well as the fighting elements in the game that made it easy to learn but hard to master. The Kaioken form was the best. It was a good thing in the tournaments. You could actually use the KAIOKEN by AURA burst charge and you could multiply it to a big level. It was easy to learn but hard to master
I would like to add that: Infinite World added a new "Boosted Mode" that gave characters in the Roster without a Finishing Move their own boosted version of their attacks. This basically made it to that a character like Kid Gohand could now launch a Masenko that did triple the damage, and also had AoE splash damage.
I love it when TH-camrs put ADs in their Videos. Its free money for them and i dont need to feel bad for using an AD block and just skipping the in-video AD. Its a Win-Win.
I absolutely loved the Shin Budokai series. Especially Shin Budokai: Another Road, for its story mode and gameplay. I love that multiple battles can happen at once
It really is great that someone actually covered every Budokai game developed by Dimps. I played the hell out of the Budokai games and will still play them again whenever possible. My favorite entries are Budokai 3, Shin Budokai 2, and Infinite World.
Shin Budokai’s story was wild. Teen Gohan was sent to the future and spilled about how Chi Chi was in depression for years, devastated over Goku’s death and Kid Buu wanted to die.
I've never seen videos that cover games over entire series. And to think your channel was small when it began with such production value says a lot. Keep it up man, you rock.

Honestly Dragon Ball Evolution(the game) is actually weirdly good? It does replace a lot of the ki attacks with physicals, but the physicals are actually really fun when considering the other games of the era. It's nice seeing a mostly close-mid range game without laser beams! The story mode is fucking hilarious because they have like 3 different guys for Goku's images and one of the images(the one facing to the side) is fucking funny. The other cast members are all mostly consistent so like ???? Regardless, it's fun and I do recommend it for the memes. Or watch Team Four Star's playthrough of it.

You Should give the legacy of goku games try if your into rpg’s. The first one is the hardest to get through, it’s very bare bones but the following two covering cell and buu sagas are great
The funny part about the Evolutiok game is that you could've reskinned Goku, taken out all of the reference to Dragon Ball, change the name, and it probably would've gotten better numbers lol.
Hey there! Once again great video! The evolution movie is like a bad joke to me but the game seems decent. I got a couple ideas for future videos if you want. Like Metal Gear and later Metal Gear Solid, since you covered Dissidia, maybe Final Fantasy (although there's waaaaay too many games), God of War, Kingdom Hearts, Bioshock, Hitman, Street Fighter, Darksiders, Devil May Cry and Spiderman. Cheers man
You should do more Dragon Ball games or some of the Naruto ones if you’re down for it. Really been enjoying your content recently, keep up the good work!
Infinite world was an all-time favourite for me. I’d always redo the Goku & Gohan segment, and with Tropica playing in the background made it such a banger.

Y-yo, you're a hero, Niosai. When you said "I played every _Budokai_ game," I got my keyboard fingers ready to counter you. But, nope. You really _did_ play every single game that uses the _Budokai_ engine or formula which, yes, includes _Dragonball Evolution_ on the PSP but excluding the slightly-altered _Dragon Ball Z 2 V_ on the PS2. Fantastic! 👍
I didn't even know about Dragon Ball Z 2 V until this comment! Interesting, it's a special edition of Budokai 2 that they only made 2,000 copies of... I want it now 😢
He leaves out that Shin Budokai Another Road is almost fully dedicated to Future Trunks and what he does after beating the Androids and Cell in his own timeline. He has his own Majin saga and more. I loved this a lot. It even gave Future Gohan more time to shine and a Super Saiyan 2 form.
Dbz infinite world & burst limit are my favorite of all times in terms of budokai style games and apart of my fav dbz games of all time. But in terms of fun and the trilogy wise I gotta go with 1 runner up is 3.
Infinite Worlds is complete Perfection! The mechanics were super modified to be a proper fighter and the variety of combos is literally infinite! Sure, Budokai Tenkaiichi 3 has the greatest lineup of fighters, but IW did make some great selections! I just wish it got a proper followup!
despite the small flaws and oversights in the game, i prefer the pure fighting mechanics in IW over B3. I just wish the dev's didnt forget to adjust the difficulty settings. Its a brutal game for casuals like myself
Lol when i hear Yuri Lowenthal all i hear is haseo he's literally like my favorite character of all time in anything I love you videos man keep them up
Infinite World needs more love and attention. Such an incredible game overshadowed by Budokai 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and the simple fact that people were moving on from the PS2 era. The only gripe I ever had about the game was that they didn't keep beam struggles, but everything else felt like a huge leap upward from Budokai 3. You actually get to land moves like Warp Kamehameha and Special Beam Cannon instead of getting thwarted by some built in BS mini game mechanics. Fatigue meter was simple and straightforward, and the capsule system was perfected. My favorite way to play was Majin Vegeta (a capsule that took 3 slots in Budokai 3) with Senzu Bean (4 slot capsule in Budokai 3) leaving little room for anything else. I also liked how characters like Teen Gohan got a non-mini game ultimate attack so you can actually land them and do damage or use it as a Hail Mary from full screen. The whole game was so good. For anybody still playing Infinite World and trying to earn a lot of money quickly, in the Fighter's Road on Earth, there's this one spot on Earth where you'll fight Vegeta in the desert and the only move he'll go for is Fusion. Just play Very Hard or Z, pick Teen Gohan, put on some capsules that increase the fatigue damage you deal and then equip 2 Masenko and an Ultimate Kamehameha. 1 Masenko will hit for like 45% fatigue and you can just mop him up lol. Avoid and evade with the shoulder button dashes when he tries to go into his burst mode to do Fusion. You can rake in like 50k per match if I recall, and the match would last 20 seconds or less when you get good at it. It's been a while though, my numbers might be skewed but the strategy is legit.
Infinite World is so underrated. For me, removing Dragon Rush was a HUGE improvement as the AI tended to spam that shit in B3, and I also hate luck based mechanics in fighting games. Removing the other struggle mechanics also made the game play way snappier IMO. It's trading off style for a better playing game essentially.
9:16 You can make the Logo move all around the screen during loading if you press L and R while pressing Face buttons and maybe the directional buttons can't remember if they're needed to do it.

I really think shin budokai another road's travel system was heavily inspired by the Gameboy games
You Should give the legacy of goku games try if your into rpg’s. The first one is the hardest to get through, it’s very bare bones but the following two covering cell and buu sagas are great
The horrifying realization that the only Budokai game with a playable Chi-Chi is Evolution lol
Thankfully she got some redemption in Tenkaichi :)
Been loving your vids. Just got a new subscriber. Please do the Tenkaichi series
The funny part about the Evolutiok game is that you could've reskinned Goku, taken out all of the reference to Dragon Ball, change the name, and it probably would've gotten better numbers lol.
Budokai - a series so awesome, even Evolution had something good about it
Bro, for this content you deserve to be at a million subs right now. Its been a while since I've been this entertained on TH-cam!
Ah you are growing. Excellent. Great content deserves to be rewarded with Raid Shadows Legends checks.
Yo that Dragon Ball Evolution looks crazy!!
The shin budokai games and burst limit give me so much nostalgia. They were some of my first introductions to dragon ball
Man I’ve missed these games.
I’ve played all except any past burst limit.
Love the videos.
When you brought up Dragon Ball Evolution I did feel like exiting the entire app out of disgust, but you make some cool videos, so Imma bear it for you man 😂
I appreciate you lmao thank you for not giving up on me 😭
Y-yo, you're a hero, Niosai.
I want it now 😢
Budokai Tenkaichi 1-3 series would be cool to see. Love your stuff mate, keep it up!
So does that mean its canon? Trunks explained these things in super
@@nachi6808 Kind of. It isn't said anywhere that it's canon but it fits in with what happens in Super.
Do the sonic franchise starting from ps1 era or do a 2-3 parts! new sub. Great content!
You got a sponsor super fast. I'm very impressed. Now you are making money for this good content you are making!
I've been slowly realizing that I have played almost all these games 😂 I'm 21 and grew up with most of these tbh.
Dbz infinite world & burst limit are my favorite of all times in terms of budokai style games and apart of my fav dbz games of all time. But in terms of fun and the trilogy wise I gotta go with 1 runner up is 3.
9:06 praises the unique character-specific dialogue, only Kid Buu laughing as h does with everyone
13:26 Bruh this brought tears to my eyes. I forgot how much I love Dragon Ball. :)
Lol when i hear Yuri Lowenthal all i hear is haseo he's literally like my favorite character of all time in anything I love you videos man keep them up
I subbed thanks to you discussing my favorite Budokai game, Infinite World.
Good job man, love the dedication
I still get chills watching certain Budokai 1 and Burst Limit cutscenes
Infinite World is so underrated. For me, removing Dragon Rush was a HUGE improvement as the AI tended to spam that shit in B3, and I also hate luck based mechanics in fighting games. Removing the other struggle mechanics also made the game play way snappier IMO. It's trading off style for a better playing game essentially.
The entire series was fireee!!🔥‼️

You can make the Logo move all around the screen during loading if you press L and R while pressing Face buttons and maybe the directional buttons can't remember if they're needed to do it.
I'm glad you've gotten a sponsor.
5:37 - it took me until the end to realize what you were doing, and i love you for it
18:04 - Karin! stop hitting Sonkun! D:
I think this is the first comment I've ever seen who noticed that gag lmao
Weirdly enough Dragon Ball Evolution the game is the only Budokai type game where you can play as Grandpa Gohan
20:51 I hear Spider-Man
Fair!
