I got lucky and got a Cremator log as my 5th of 6th log that I picked up in this game. When I get around to 100% the game, I'm glad this won't be the thing I'm stuck on.

The last thing I needed to get to 100% Risk of Rain 1 was actually ridiculous I had never gotten the boss drop from the Ancient Wisp. I was on 99% for a long time, ROR2 came out, and then at some point I revisited the game and played a random run and got it
Legend tells of 101%. In Risk of Rain 1, I swear my save file was at 101%, because of a secret party golem. Not the 3 golems partying, but a colossus with a party hat on his head and confetti called the party golem.
on kill effects around you are so much better in this game and og ror then 2 they can do so much dps both games honestly have a special place in my heart at this point for roguelikes and the music of both just slaps for relaxing something about the games overall despite some serious frustration at times just hits and feels satisfying
I'm stuck needing to get the golden drone with hande, beam drone with engineer, and drowning 20 whirls. Literally all I have left but the eng just continues to fuck me over and over with never seeing the right drones or never getting sunken tombs unless I'm already far too powerful in looping. At this point I imagine it's time to just accept I'm burnt out enough that by the time I come back to play eventually, I'll finish those 3 without trying.
Just increase damage taken and reduce damagde dealt if you want to increase the challenge. I did 75%damage dealt and 125% damage taken run with sniper and it was quite a challenge
I messed with the damage taken and damage dealt values to get a lot of these achievements, but I’ll do this as well once I get 100% completion and want a greater challenge for myself.
how do you complete stages so fast? I struggle a lot with time management in both the original and returns. It doesn't help that most of the time I play deafult commando but I'm sure there is a huge improvement potential there

Crazy you dont think this game is hard. It took me time to learn and eventually i got good enough to get all the alternate skins from the judgement providence trial and get comfy in monsoon. But that will never change the fact that drizzle in rorr feels like monsoon on ror2.
I’m stuck with the lynx totem, which is incredibly annoying. I got the little guys totem on my first fight with the totem but I just can’t get the totem.
Its a combo of 2 being 3d which lets you run away from enemies more easily and 2 also letting you almost tailor your items with all of the scrappers, printers and the lunar shop
Hopoo was like: "Were keeping the two directional aiming because it was the core of ror1's gameplay" then added an enemy that is super hard to hit cause it jumps at an angle
The only log I'm missing for 100% is ifrit. tell me on my life that you have ever seen that guy outside of judgement, he just doesnt ever show up on ancient tundra

The easiest way to get the boss logs is to use the Artifact of Prestige. It'll put so many bosses on screen that it's impossible for it not to drop.

familiarity with the game at this point, start up tp quick and get to looting

I am having the same issue with the colossus of all things, I think I have killed close to 500 of them so far with no log book in sight

for me it's ifrit. i dont bother with providence because i dont think he is rewarding to fight. game just ends :(
