Hospitals are actually quite creepy, you work alone in lonely parts of it where nobody would even come for hours. This is possible in any medium to large hospital in India. Like he said, the person kept going in and out and was seemingly allowed free access to these places. It's not like regular criminals could come inside and do something like this

I am just so sick of hearing these episodes over and over and the Indian Government does noting about it. Wasn't this a government hospital? I think it is fair to say that India is the Rape capital of the world. This leaves me in tears. This should have never happened. May her soul rest in peace and I pray for her family. I left the county decades ago and don't regret it at all. India will never change no matter what. Crimes, coverup and corruption are all too common. There is a test called the DNA test, which came out in 1991 ( 35 years ago), and I am not sure why that was done in the Autopsy to understand how many types of DNA have been found in the victim's body. Why are we speculating stupidly on TV and not conclusively looking at the autopsy DNA findings?

A voice recording/message from a nurse of the same R. G Kar Medical School is being shared on social media. In the message, she identifies herself as "Soma Mukherjee". In this message, Soma says that it is a planned murder orchestrated by the principal and executed by a group of interns. The guy who was caught committed the rape on the dead body. He is a delinquent guy, was drinking outside the building, and was sent by the murderers "to have fun" after they had mercilessly killed the girl. There were four interns including a girl. They are part of an extortion gang, run by the principal who extorts money from interns for issuing completion certificates, etc. The victim refused payment and threatened to expose and that led to the brutal murder. There are many such messages by (allegedly) Jr. Doctors, interns, etc. who claim that failed medical students pay money (INR 10L) to clear a subject, interns are harassed by delaying their certificates till they pay up, etc. The kingpin is the principal.
While verifying such messages or claims is impossible, the sheer volume of such allegations on social media mandates thorough investigation, especially when some identify themselves.
