How have i been playing sims 4 for 10 years and have never found out about pressing f5 for quarter tile placement???
Because they still don't list the controls in the game. It's ridiculous. They're not at all interested in usability or designing for disability.
Are you kidding? I just learned this now, I just assumed since tiles are already divided by four that quarter tile placement (at least as we know it in sims 2) is already just included, I had no idea about this! thanks

I did not know that about the F5, you are such a help. This is such an improvement to those sad little lots. Also the LittleMsSam live in business mod is really helpful. I have many a little downtown brownstone shop with the apartments up above like in my town. Really opens up how versatile limited space can be. Love it got featured.

Seeing this one pop up made me laugh as I have literally today finished turning Magnolia Promenade into a full fledge town, but making the largest lot a residental rental for multiple households, adding a micro farm tiny house system, and creating multiple style of community lots on the remaining two lots. Looking forward to watching your reconfiguration.

I was today years old when learning you can own a retail shop.... and I've owned the game for years LOL! I want to make a 2000s hollister now and put zero lighting in it, or a wet seal with blasting music. Actually could you sell music you make in a retail shop like a record store? My sim is a musician and it would be cool for all the music that she makes in the music production workstation to be sellable in person. If not - EA PLS.
Realm of Magic! The main building is overly large with long walk time to get around. It's super annoying when the person I want to talk to just walked up all those stairs! LOL

not being able to have a live in business or set a community lot you own as your "residence" is the dumbest oversight I don't understand why they'd not allow us to do something so realistic
It was a thing in previous versions of the game so I don't know why they didn't do it for TS4

I find your idea very very interesting, because I never download from the gallery because the builts there are just to full and personalized, everytime or have stuff I dont like and dont do in my game, like upsizing objects that should not be upsized and look ugly like that... or merging objects together to have an awful flickering... example, the tiny ceiling lamp merged under the fixture of another ceiling light lol I HATE IT! with a passion. Also the difficult thing sometime is to make the shell, like you said bake the cake... this is really cool idea and I might pick some lots and finish them in my save file, this way i would also fully feel its my own, but also it was meant as... type of feeling. I love that continu!
I wish I could use mods, but my Mac sadly struggles enough just running S4 as is - and I can’t afford a proper PC (the Mac itself is a hand me down)
Mods would really make the game a lot better

My Sim owns a restaurant and 'lives' upstairs in an apartment, and owns an empty block next door
The fact that you can’t have home businesses, but they only have us a world with 4 more lots is an absolute travesty.

I think download as save file is easier than download each indivudal lots. I dont see the problem to download after every new pack, other simmer do this way.

What is a mod ? Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is something you download and add to your game to modify it (hence the word "mod") depending on what you download and add. For example Wonderful Whims add periods and acne and more to the game. There is a relationship overhaul that change how relationships work and so on. There are mods that add arson and natural disasters, or mods that help you rotate and size objects the exact way you want. There are tons. I hope this was helpful🥰❤️
