Great Video!!! Thanks for sharing, I haven't been there since 2021 I'll definitely have to go back once my Grand Cherokee gets fixed. If you don't mind me asking what vehicle were you driving?

Looking at google earth it appears that you could drive all the way to Virginia Beach on the sand. There are some remote spots but it looks doable to me.

Great video! Have you ever been driving on Cape Hatteras? People said that Corolla beach sand is worst than the Hatteras…I have a 2017 Nissan Murano and I didn’t have any problem on Hatteras…and I can see some AWD vehicles here in your video. Do you think I can drive in Corolla with AWD and 18psi? Thanks

No. We watched a dozen of cars get stuck. Good towing business there.

If you visit this area know that there are rules concerning the wild horses. the horses are just that, wild, they have been here for over 500 years. At one time they roamed further south, but the invasion of people and their BS forced them to where they are now, they have no place to go from here. It is illegal to approach, harass, feed or interact with them in any manner, they are protected by law and are to be admired from a distance. Failure to follow the rules may result in your arrest and your vehicle impounded, their caretakes don't play games. There are no commercial facilities in this area and no paved roads, and you may find yourself having to wait to leave in case of an unusually high tide flooding the entire beach. Come visit, enjoy the areas and respect the wild inhabitants of the area, this is their home.

Not a good representation of Outer Banks vacations in the 1990s. Where one could rent a 7 BR home with pool on the ocean for $2000/wk.
    Seems like times have changed
Where are the mega beach mansions? No one cares about the horses. They are free and wild.
