I own 2 five oz bars, and I love them. I don’t know about getting a 10oz bar, they’re massive and cost twice as much

Speaking of Jersey Mint bars and that Aydin is based in NJ, the governor of NJ has until September 12 to take action on Bill s721 that exempts bullion from state sales tax. If he does nothing, it becomes law January 1 bullion is exempt from the sales tax. If he vetoes it, it will be overridden by both chambers at the next legislative session they take it up. This should cause NJ residents to pause on purchases until the tax is repealed. The NJ tax adds a 6.625% premium.

I like Britannia coins because of the great security features. I purchased a bar where the weight was close, but off. Turns out the bar had a lead core clad in Silver. Remember when you need to sell people may be sceptical. Your bar may be 100% 'legit' but if the buyer has doubts you may not be able to sell. Also, if you need to barter you may not get a great trade for a 'generic' bar that you would for more easily recognised constitutional coins or for the same weight of silver in 'junk' coins. Remember your buyer may not be Silver experts like you.

Trying to only hold 1 ounce and smaller silver now. My LCS will trade spot for spot for silver or gold, so I'll probably trade for gold.
