Being a 2nd Year Resident of Pediatrics at AIIMS-P myself, the concept of super-speciality and how to prepare for it, or do we even actually need it has always been shrouded by a cloud of ignorance. This teaches me about the first step I would like to take in my future, post my MD, even though I am preparing for MRCPCH too, which will go on simultaneously. Super-speciality courses are a topic which needs to be further spoken about, especially in Pediatrics as this branch is growing at a very rapid rate. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make this video ! Primarily, I'm interested in Pediatric Hemato-oncology too.

I am a neet ug aspirant going to give neet ug 2022 first attempt same age 17(youngest of all batch mates) as you were when u gave and gonna clear it and get admitted in govt medical college. Hi , My senior Scored NEET SS Rank 1 DM paediatric Neonatology last Session , Recommended SPEED SS , iam Preparing with that Content is Exhaustive.
My seniors told that Prep Ladder is good because content isn’t as exhaustive as expected. I think depth matters more than breadth.
Being through in more important and basic concepts rather than reading entire NELSON.
I can say that Atleast for my speaciality.

You can do DM in Lab oncology/DM in Hematopathology along with DM in Clinical Hematology in NEET SS but not INI SS

Paediatrics is more challenging than general medicine because of the nature of the patients.. Right now just bite down and complete the course.. Then write neet ss and shift to adult medicine.

Qbank/Notes - yes.
From what I have seen. You need a Qbank. Prepladder is a decent option.
It is not an option for 1/2nd year though. Vehemently against it.
It will narrow your horizon.

@@051jatinbhagat Dbmci/bhatia is pretty damn good. Join their live/face to face classes. Any subject whose teacher you don't find as good, you can try prepladder or marrow for those. Because not all 19 faculties will be extremely good in one coaching institute. You may mix and match from here and there.
But it's essential to join a live/face to face batch to maintain consistency and to have a fixed schedule to finish your syllabus on time.
For example, if you decide, you'll do obs and gynae from marrow/prepladder and not dams/bhatia, try to make sure you finish that subject within the days allotted according to your coaching live class schedule, so that you don't create backlogs.
Personally speaking, bhatia is exceptionally good. I used bhatia as my main source and i used prepladder for pharmacology (dr gobind rai garg), and marrow for obs and gynae (dr sakshi arora hans).. rest all subjects are taught extremely well in bhatia live classes/batches..

@@shivamtyagi8547 I do think you should join a coaching institute right now only since you will face NEXT exam just after your final year. But you need to read standard books side by side with coaching, that will give you the best output.

Hey, Im doing my MD Pediatrics. I have already finished my Dch and have worked as SR for over a year.
A few questions I had:
1. Does AIIMS still have interviews post INI-SS? Also earlier SRs in AIIMS were preferred over non-AIIMS candidates (more so in certain departments). Is that still the case?
2. Pediatric Nephro DM is still not available in AIIMS right? Last I checked Nephro was only available in PGI and St. Johns.
3. What are your opinion about SS in adult superspecialties after Peds? Especially with respect to PHO..Since PHO is available only at AIIMS/PGI. And Ped Onco at TMC. Only DNB Ped HemOnco seems to be available..
1.Yes, it still does and yes SR’s at AIIMS do get some preference.
2. DM Pediatric Nephro has a single seat every year - and no AIIMS has a DM Pediatric Nephrology program.
3. Can do. A lot of people do. Especially in branches like Med Onc and Hematology where there is a lot of overlap. FNB In PHO is also a good option.

For use by 1/2nd years. They destroy the fun of learning in MBBS. I will still call it Prep ki chaddi if 1/2nd years want to use it. DM is a different ball game altogether.
He always roast prepladder ,as prep ki chadi 😅 now how much they pay u to promote 😂
Not a promotion :) When something is good - it’s good - I’ll still roast it for those who use it from 1/2nd year.
These apps have destroyed the learning from 1/2nd year and I’m still vehemently against it.
Their use should be restricted to 3/4th year but in the FOMO people use it from 1/2nd year.
I was genuinely surprised when my seniors mentioned Prepladder. I thought they would say marrow actually.
