Put an orchard at the back which will block the fully open picturesque view through the valley 😢. The orchard would better on the left of your property to put a barrier between you and the neighbour’s fence, and also to control water flowing down from the upper neighbour’s property!
You have a point. We were choosing trees that won't cover the view. The block is slightly sloping down actually but not obvious on video. But yea, well aware of the view situation 👍

I love Tasmania and it's was only over the weekend I looked at my wife and said.. you know we should move down there ourselves.
What you showed in this video is very similar to our plans.

Just stumbled on to your channel and will watch your Tasmania home progress with interest. Congratulations on your new venture , a little colder the Brisbane but a beautiful place is Tasmania . Curious on where you bought your transportable accommodation from ? Looks to be well insulated .
Cheers. One of the many reasons why we left is the heat. We love the cold 😀 The temporary home is an expandable home. There are a lot of companies that sell them in different sizes in the mainland. We bought ours from Same Day Granny Flats. Yes it has very decent insulation. It is cool room insulation really. I will be making a video about it in the near future.
