Great review. Have you tried any of the Private Collection 2014 through 2017? If yes, how do they compare to King George V? There is also JW Private Collection 28 years Bicentenary Blend and The Midnight Blend. Thanks
Good morning Sir, i have the choice to buy a bottle „JW King George V“ for 328€ or „JW blue label ghost and rare Brora“ for 299€. What do you think? Which one is worth the high end price tag more than the other? Btw i love the „JW blue lable cask edition“ (239€/bottle). Thank you Sir!
They are both worth it in their own right, I'd say. Both are outstanding. But taste-wise, they are quite different indeed. I'd go with the Blue Label Ghost & Rare Brora, but that is totally personal taste preference. Whichever of the two you buy, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

I don't believe it to be a collector's item per se, but as with all special releases it will increase in value a bit over the next several years. Having said that, the increase will not be dramatic. I'd rather not speculate on choices for 'whisky investment', there's people out there who know more about it than me. And I'm a firm believer that whisky is meant for drinking/sharing.
Hi Mark I’m new from your channel I just opened my Johnnie walker king George v smells it taste it nothing like what you described I’m so sorry but my bottle is older one . I probably bought it more than 10 years ago , the packaging is really nice it has the two gold knobs on the side of the box and it comes with the scroll which I wouldn’t bother to read it’s looks so nice on the self I would Not Buy It Again!!! The standard blue label is better I’m sorry 😐 but I just bought the Gosh and Rare Port Ellen can’t wait to open it

Your one was JW Blue King George old First Version & it's hard to find now & the price should be around $1300+
