No joke when I first started this game, I got a random fighter pawn from a riftstone because he looked funny. Dude proceeds to carry my squishy wizard self through to Grand Soren becoming the bane of bandits, and even showed me a secret route above the canyon I didn't even know you could reach.
Look for fighters with only dragon's maw for skills or for fighters with no weapon, just shield and 2 bloody knuckles (probably won't find any like this lol). If you have 2 or more accounts you can gift yourself 1mil RC in a matter of minutes th-cam.com/video/nmHx1lCIEq4/w-d-xo.html
If you want your pawn to tank the most then just dmaw. Otherwise antlers toss is pretty cool too. The main thing is no shield skills so they perfect block everything.

@@johnywidgery6866 yea they don't need adamance or prescience or anything. For Assassin I use Clout Vehemence Impact Damping Precision Adhesion. For MK I use Clout Vehemence Acuity Attunement Articulacy and last augment can be Sinew or your choice. I use Antler Toss, Full Moon Slash, Sky Rapture, Ruinous Sigil, Great Cannon mostly. Abyssal Anguish, Flame Riposte and Holy Furor on shield.

It is just a graphical effect of the game when you hit something or get hit. Unless you mean how she flashes when blocking that is the visual effect of perfect blocking. /e Just looked it up, apparently the light flashes were added in the PC version and carried over to PS4 and XB1 so if you played on PS3/360 you wouldn't have seen them.

@@Willyu No, no mods. You do Fighter to 10 then change to either Warrior or Ranger. It is shown on the stat planner by the blue box containing fighter being highlighted.

These ones spawn in the rotundra of dread if you have fiend luring incense. You can check the wiki here for other spawn points as well dragonsdogma.fandom.com/wiki/Elder_Ogre

Fighters are good vs these enemies if you make sure they have no shield skills equipped. For pawns behaving dumbly in general you should look at inclination potions from Jonathan at the Encampment. Pioneer and scather are good inclinations for fighter pawns. Besides that try not to run around too much because pawns will stop what they are doing to follow you (less so with Pioneer inclination though).

Fighter pawns are beastly. I recently started hard mode and my pawn has been a godsend in keeping me from certain death
Yea pawns don't take extra damage from hard mode like the player does so they are a big help.

I'd say fighter/strider pawns are best as they aren't squishy like mage pawns and can actually deal dps consistantly while you need a distraction
Except you can throw a staff on mage pawns making them functionally immortal.

Only Dragon's Maw for skills. Augments are Clout, Vehemence, Ferocity, Egression, Bastion and Awareness.

All my pawns ever do is wait near cliffs to get smacked off, and wall back and forth in front of death as he readies his scythe.
inclinations matter a great deal on how your pawns react. Look up the inclinations you want and make sure your pawns have them

It is Pioneer/Scather/Utilitarian/Medicant. I drink 3 Medicant, 5 Utilitarian, 7 Scather and 9 Pioneer elixers in that order.
