Ohhh you are going to love this one!! This one I don’t toast the bun. Leave it soft to be more similar to white bread with the Nashville hot fried chicken.
Oh for sure. My favorite cooks often are the ones that are simple to make, and simple ingredients. This is all that but with massive flavor at the end.
a true BBQ man for the people. thank you for telling us that the probe people sent you that probe. so many yourubers get sent stuff and don't tell the subscribers that they were gifted the items. as a viewer, if i know that you were given the item, i feel like i can watch and evaluate fairly.
I need to try this recipe out for myself.. I may have to alternate the spicy part for more of a savory & sweet for my wife & daughter... There not too keen to spicy foods...
Thanks Jabin, great video. Thanks for the meatstick review. I have another wireless thermometer, and find that when I get comfortable using it, I overcook something. Unless it's on the rotisserie, I like the instant read and the educated eyeball. 😁 Smoke on!
That’s a great idea. Maybe when it’s all cleaned up from summer. Right now it’s a mess of grill, summer stuff, paddle boards, and camping gear. Haha. Not the best visuals right now. 😂
Do you buy your chicken from a local farm? Bc that chicken looked so pure and healthy! One thing I would need to do differently….butter that bun and toast it for a little added crunch! Oh so good!
Great cook Jabin - Just wondering why you would not put the leg/thigh facing toward the heat source instead of the breast, which you want at a slightly lower temp? - Cheers!
Great question! With the Slow n Sear in there it doesn’t really matter which way you place it as the water reservoir keeps the heat from radiating as much. So instead of the heat going in all directions it goes up the over the lid bowl and down the back of the lid hitting the legs before convecting back around to the breasts. If the slow n sear wasn’t in there and the heat was radiating I would have turned the breast away. That said I do turkeys with the legs closer to the fire simply for space reasons and basically have had great results both ways.
The flat bill with bonus temple gaps (maybe they’re air vents?) went out back in 2011. Don’t be the old dude trying too hard that teenagers and chicks laugh at. Gotta have tough love once in a while.
No way man! The flat brim is always in style young and old on the best coast. I mean west coast. We know how to stay young, play hard , and enjoy island life the way it’s supposed to be lived. One day I’ll be old enough with a grey beard finally rocking an old school long board, while wearing checkered vans, and a sick flat brim hat as I cruise down to the beach. Haha. Cheers bud.
@@PostalBarbecue he was the one old school not knowing that flat brims have been back in style for quite a while. My teenagers have been sporting these changes for a while now. They go out of their way to flatten them.

That looks like an SNS kettle...but black? New colours coming?
This is the SNS Grills kettle in black. She sure is purdy.
