I made a rule for myself for when I get a kindle; any book which has a pretty cover, any book that i just really love or want in my collection, and any book that is a part of a series I will buy a physical copy of. All the other books, the ones that seem fun but not too special, I will buy an e-book version of. And I will probably buy the e-book versions of some of the books I dnf'ed earlier cuz I heard reading on a kindle is somehow easier and it seems more fun so maybe that way I'll actually finish my tbr
Subscriber earned! I got into reading recently and I'm absolutely loving it! I have read a few books before, but it was only whenever I had to read something for school, high school to be exact. It's been nearly 10 years since I graduated high school, and I've gotten busy with all sorts of things. Music production, work, streaming, etc. And whenever I had free time, I decided to get into reading, lots of my friends are huge bookworms (I may become one soon actually), so I got a few books I've been interested in. Animal Farm by George Orwell, 1984 also by George Orwell, and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I read 1984 in high school, but never finished it, so I got my own copy a few years ago at Barnes and Noble. And, I too got my very first Kindle. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 11th Gen (and yes, I will be trading in the one I have and get the Colorsoft, or the 12th Gen Paperwhite, and the book I've been reading; is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, I absolutely LOVE it!
A girl after my own heart! I’m a HUGE kindle lover and feel like I’m cheating on all of my physical books (that I also love). 🤣 We have the same taste in genre’s as well! ❤
I keep going back and forth between buying it. I know I don't "need it" but I thought it would be nice for a lot of the books on KU (or libby) that I don't necessarily want a physical copy. Or a good way to try out a fantasy before buying one cause so many good fantasy books on KU, I was surprised?? This video sold me! Loved the video :)
#5 and above all #6 are the main reasons why I first got into Kindle e-books back in I believe 2018. 👍 I started reading them on the app, then pros #1, #4 and again #5 came into play when time for vacation arrived….and now I couldn’t do without a Kindle Paperwhite. 😍 On the other hand my only con with the Kindle reader is the lack of colors; I read lots of comics, and seeing the colored pages would be nice….but tbh that can’t be really considered a con - that’s just how e-ink technology works and I can always read comics using the Kindle app on my iPad. Instead your con #4 is why I don’t like and will never have Kindle Unlimited, preferring to just buy the books I want ((given how most of them are super cheap, to me it feels more convenient and less expensive in the long run than the subscription)). This way the books are really mine and will stay in my library forever.
If you have unlimited, give Cracking Ibiza a go- fun novel about two pals and their craft beer bar, trying to make a new life away from rainy old England!
Thank you! I used two cameras, one on me and one on the desk. Then I overlay my face cam on top of the other shot during editing, you stack the clips on top of another and make the top one a bit smaller/change shape. hope this helped! ☺️
My current struggle with getting a kindle is….should I just buy the books and read them on my phone? Or do I want a bigger screen and more battery? I have no idea lol
I bought my first kindle and after reading for several hours I love it, I will keep using it that's for sure, and obviously I love the feeling of having a physical book, but I will only buy physical collectible books, like the ones I like like like Moby dick, Friedrich Nietzsche etc.
I just started this one lol www.goodreads.com/user/show/167059613-louky-books-lucy Still getting it all set up before I start adding all my books and reviews :)

I thinking of getting one great video! How do you make your videos with the camera looking at you and the other looking at your desk?😊

Is the kindle paper write screen colour or black and white? I have the kindle app on my iPad and it’s colour a screen.
It’s black and white :)

Trust me the blue light on your phone will start hurting your eyes along with the tiny screen haha
@@louky_books yeah I thought of that too. Still on the fence haha
