How does one know if he or she reads a book that the trigger warnings will affect her or not?, I mean like in nuts and the beast I saw the best I through was going to die I and abortions I got upset and wanted to go help them, I can’t stand seeing rape, abuse in any form or murder or hurting anyone, but yet I can watch horror movies and there of with me I mean really gory horror movies and they don’t bothere me, but what happens in a book stays in a book I know it happens in real life but what happens stays in a book s0 it doesn’t bothere me alo I don’t agree with them.

Subscriber earned! I got into reading recently and I'm absolutely loving it! I have read a few books before, but it was only whenever I had to read something for school, high school to be exact. It's been nearly 10 years since I graduated high school, and I've gotten busy with all sorts of things. Music production, work, streaming, etc. And whenever I had free time, I decided to get into reading, lots of my friends are huge bookworms (I may become one soon actually), so I got a few books I've been interested in. Animal Farm by George Orwell, 1984 also by George Orwell, and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I read 1984 in high school, but never finished it, so I got my own copy a few years ago at Barnes and Noble. And, I too got my very first Kindle. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 11th Gen (and yes, I will be trading in the one I have and get the Colorsoft, or the 12th Gen Paperwhite, and the book I've been reading; is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, I absolutely LOVE it!

Thanks for such a great video and honest reviews ^_^ I also don't read many thrillers (I think the last one I read was in June called 'The Silent Patient') and I know what you mean about the 'eh' aspect - a book takes the scary edge out of an otherwise thriller-scary movie situation. I think I'll stick to horror when I want to actually be freaked out/on edge about a story. I get to re-read 'The Haunting Of Hill House' this month so I'm so excited for that! p.s. love the lil ghost who made an appearance

I know EXACTLY what you mean about the wanting to talk to people about books you've read (but also not wanting to go way over the top to friends about books). I recently read Ella Minnow Pea and I'd describe it as "literary cute dystopian fiction" and I STAND by all those words hehe. So that could be a branch out for you from YA dystopian/fantasy ^_^.
