      I will show you around. Spectacular!

      You really ought to start airing down lower. You could easily take it down to 12psi with those tires. It would improve your traction and your ride quality immensely.

      I am always surprised to see WJs make it through tough trails because the gas tanks hang SOO low in the back, like a giant hemorrhoid. I drive the previous Grand Cherokee (ZJ) which also has its gas tank lower than I would like, but nothing like those WJs.

    • @KurNorock
      @KurNorock 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@hernluis1 that's because the jeep has a manual transmission. It's really hard to take steep, uneven hills with a manual transmission and keep it smooth and steady without toasting your clutch.

    That ledge at 12:00 is where I had to call it quits on a solo ride on my ATV up there a few years ago. I camped at the bottom of the trail and rode the ATV up to that spot. Ended up hiking the rest of it, but it was well worth it. Such an amazing view from the top! That ledge is a lot bigger in person than it looks on camera lol. It's probably about 4ft worth of staggered ledge. Too much for my KingQuad 750 without a spotter.

    Be honest: There must be times when you guys pinch yourselves to prove this all isn't just some dream. I know there's lots of hard work (and tons of travel) that goes into what you produce, but vids like this make even the best day I have at the office seem like pure crap in comparison. Loving what you do sure is key. Anyway, cheers for another excellent vid.

    I always sneak into the runs that require lockers even though I don't even have limited slip. I always find a way through, well, within reason. I've even had people driving behind me say things like "as you were climbing the hill I saw your lockers kick in and really get you moving".
    There is one obstacle I can never get through because it requires dragging your sliders over the point of a boulder to pivot around a 90 degree bend, and the entire time you are in 2 foot deep sand. If you have even one locker or a very narrow vehicle, you are fine. But otherwise, there is no way you aren't getting towed through.

    They required 35's on this trail? Huh, last time I did it we had 2 80 series land cruisers on 33's an FJC on 33's and a lockerless 4runner on 31's . Its a cool trail but its not THAT hard. Hey at least you took the hard left line.

    You should review the last of the WJ grand Cherokees. Quadra drive 2 had limited slip front and rear diffs in addition to the low range center lock. In my 02 with a 2" lift and 32" tires I did Engineers pass and a week in Grand Escalante, including deep soft sand miles from any help. It was a beast both on and off road.
