Yamaha GP1800R Oil Change

Changing the oil on my 2019 Yamaha GP1800R. Same for all GP’s 2017 - 2021. Using the MityVac fluid evacuator plus. Model MV7201
Oil used is RedLine 10W40
Oil filter I like to use is the K&N HP-1002 for the GP1800R motor

Ty for the vid i have a 84 mph gp all i use is the oem oil. Its very good and engine designed for the oil they had in mind.

Lol oem oil you go to Chrysler and get their oem oil for your car 😂😂🤦🏼 never use oem oil or filter after engine break in get that bullshit out of their they don’t have millions of dollars in scientists designing filters and oil you know who does k&n and fuckin castrol 😂😂

It’s just short bursts. All the parts are still coated with warm oil as I run it before I drain it to heat the oil up😁

Why not run yamalube? Also how often do you change the oil?

I run Redline because it is in my opinion one of the best oils out there for any motor. The blend works with wet clutch and I also use it in all my other toys. I usually change it out every 40 or so hours
