    Before my best friend died finally he had a vision while being dead for minutes during a heart surgery before. He said it was calm, warm, extreme colorful and peaceful. He told me, that it was something, he never felt before. All was beautiful and he felt like being on the ultimate LSD Trip. After that, he had some fear of dying, but only for leaving his loved ones behind. He had no more fear of death itself, because he knew, that everything will be alright. No pain, no panic, just peace and a wonderful feeling of floating through fantastic scenes with a deep inner feeling of relief. After he died a couple of weeks later, I mourned losing him, but I knew and know that he had found his way to peace. I'm so glad that he told me what he saw and felt. I know he's ok. And I'm too

    A professor of slavonic languages asked for my presence as he lay dying & asked for me to return the next day & requested that I read ' The Tibetan Book of The Dead ' & have carried that thought until now ! I returned the next day & sat with him all day ... The following day he took his last breath of life & his soul began the next journey .

    Only the physical body, the ego and its attachments must die. There are many of us, who've, in this temporary mortal existence, experienced an NDE. We know from this experience, that the soul, the real us, our conscious immortal self, never dies. We awaken to the need to look within, to face all things not of love, those things that do not serve us spiritually. It's necessary to acknowledge, understand, forgive and dismiss, all the hurts, trauma, fears, feelings of guilt and remorse. All of the negativity, we're concealing within. Learning to forgive and love ourselves is most important. This frees us to not only accept and love ourselves, but also radiate this love unconditionally, to everyone.

    "What if everything I told you that you know about death is a lie?"
    What do you (the reader) know about death? Nothing! Thus, the only things you will be told about death are human fabrications and speculations.
    As a philosophical Taoist (and one who has almost died multiple times), I am not concerned with death. I can't even know that there will come a day that I die. I simply have now: reality experiencing this moment, and thus I go with the natural harmony instead of concerning myself with preparations for a hypothetical journey through rebirths and realms. Burdening yourself with dogma, ritual, or speculative metaphysics is a bizarre hobby to have, when like Zhuangzi upon the death of his wife, he had the normal human reaction and then joyously sat on the floor and beat on a metal pot with a wooden spoon. My dreams are as convincing as me typing this comment. I don't worry about my dreams ending, and I don't worry about my life, a story that I might just be telling myself that may not exist outside of this moment ending. If and when it ends, so be it! There is nothing to prepare for: a mouse does not need to be taught how to live, and I do not need to be taught how to die!
    As a philosophical Taoist, at least to me, Buddhism seems like just another series of formalized rituals when you could be enjoying the taste of vinegar. Humans are strange.
    Are you dead?
    No? Then why obsess about what is not happening?
    Yes? Then you know there is nothing to concern yourself with.
    Maybe? Then just allow the maybe to unfold itself instead of exerting so much effort in a struggle to be the unfolder.
    While I do acknowledge that there are humans out there who seem to derive comfort in and thrive in rituals and bravado, I find it incomprehensible, but of course, your harmony is not my harmony, and just as the first chapter of the Tao Te Ching says that the Tao cannot be told and then spends pages trying to hint at it, I cannot tell you how to live nor how to die, and that is hypocritically not my goal - the contradiction of language to events.
    Furthermore, clickbait nonsense: "Before TH-cam deletes this video" indeed! I cannot believe this channel has subscribers: I see the titles of videos in my sidebar: "THIS IS SHOCKING! Before It's Too Late: Use Your GOD Gifted Power."

      Those who take this approach adapt and live a longer and more meaningful life.
      If the story happens after death, so be it: since you don't believe it, take it as a fairy tale and use the lessons in your current life. All the best 🙏

    This book was 'required reading' in certain elements of the social revolution of the 60's and early 70's. Since then, 'by popular demand' many more authors and practitioners, as committed as the Tibetans to advance human awareness, but in a more 'user-friendly' fashion have promoted the idea the 'conciousness survives death'. Modern society has made a business out of the idea that "death" is the ultimate bummer. Just the same, I'm encouraged by our progress.

There is more in that transition. These accounts happen frequently that I can't dismiss, on some occasions the patient would have a visitor and there was nobody there. Its always a man in black. They would talk with them and they would be fine, happy. They would be close to death. I do agree there is preparation coming to terms and facing spiritual awakening. Its a physical world and there is this grinding souls, and depression that everybody needs that lift. I enjoyed the video

      Energy is the potential to do work. Life is not energy. The concept is hilarious considering you have to take life everyday and eat it to move forward in time. Care to explain why you die when you do not consume matter to energy? And what happens to that energy if it doesn't die? Why do we need to constantly eat?
      By the way, congrats on being resurrected. What doctor declared you dead?

    • @Uglybuttfiend
      @Uglybuttfiend 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

       @doublecrossedswine112 there are different kinds of energy, and the potential to do work is kinetic energy, n'est pas? Even so, isn't the human body itself constantly working until you kick the bucket? The heart would be the James Brown of physiology, I suppose. And we do consume energy to have energy cuz life feeds on life according to MJK. And Disney says there's a Circle of Life. As for where that energy goes when we die, I'm not sure, but just because we don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there. There are definitely wavelengths our eyes can't sense. Are you familiar with the neurons inside your brain, and the way signals propagate thru it via synaptic connections? It's chemical within the neurons, but electrical between. And each neuron connects from the presynaptic part (the axon terminal) to the next neuron's postsynaptic part (the dendrites). And the axon is the long part of the neuron (I'm aware there are different types of neurons as well). But I think life could be the same way, going from one neuron to another, with the axon being life's journey, and the synapse being the portal between life and death. This would be characteristic of reincarnation, which makes sense to me cuz everything in life is cyclical in nature. And, like the communication of neurons, we too would switch between chemical and electrical. Scientists have compared the complexity of the brain to the universe, so maybe they're not too far off. We don't fully understand either as it is. Maybe we are all just a cell within a cell within a cell within....anyhoo, if you actually read this whole thing then kudos to you, lol. Cheers, mate.

      You weren't 'dead for 20min.' The very fact that you are here and posting on TH-cam means you didn't die, no matter how much you want to believe in NDE's. You were close to death, unconscious or in a coma, that is all. While in that state your brain was active (in other words, you weren't dead), and you had dreams and hallucinations from what you had heard during your lifetime so far. If you had died like billions of people have, you wouldn't have come back to talk about it.

I saw nothing but beautiful, colorful colors, so bright but so delicate like pastel colors at the same time. I didn't think about my daughter , other family members or Jesus . Just unbelievable self awareness and unimaginable peacefulness. All the sudden I was back with pain from he!! .
    So why do I want achive it in human skin something that is mean for after Earthly life ? I don't want to stop achivng Earthly life like working , enjoyment, gardening loving people , responsibilities and enjoyment before I supposed to: AFTER MY PHYSICAL BODY DIES !!
    Meditation in excess seems very narcissistic, an excuse for being lazy or very greedy, wanting something when the right time is not "here" .
    Meditation, which I'm trying as I wish should be mind " cleaner" without pushing the obvious boundaries, not the gate to something that is reserved for after Earthly life . We the people tend to reach for something that is out of our control , but we don't control enough what we supposed to at the moment. Exteme monks want achive the eternity while they still possess human body 👁️
    MODERATION IS THE KEY IN EARTLY LIFE !! It doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand that both forms of our lifes forms have a purpose and we can't FORCE IT TO BE OTHERWISE !! IT DOESN'T WORK !
    Normal meditation supposed to help our physical body to clean us from the mental Earthly trash in our physical brain. That is all .

In the meantime, I will enjoy my cookies, play my guitar, kisss my girlfriend, wlak my dog and later call my mom. Keep calm, NOBODY has the answers !!!

    Ive had some NDE's,and im convinced that what you see at the moment of death is simply the brain shutting down, a dream state... eventually it ends and it goes black forever. Its like when you fall asleep, when a dream ends and theres just sleep....

    As I watch this I began to wonder why is the Dalai Lama keep getting reborn here on earth. Think about it, he is the brightest and well versed in this subject matter in which he could've passed the 1st Bardo long ago and yet he keeps coming back. Is it by choice or he has unresolved issues like a normal person?

      Perhaps the Dalai Lama's consciousness does not extend beyond the mind to reach the heart. He should marry. Through marriage, an individual can fully fulfill his important religious duties and moral responsibilities. Just my 2 cents. 😁

      ..or is the Book of the Dead a recipe for constant reincarnation which nobody would really want. Is the intense light the path towards reincarnation? Should it be seen as that and avoided?

    • @MarianitoArevalojr
      @MarianitoArevalojr 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      @phnx4life I have this nagging thoughts in my head...
      Think about it if reincarnation is real then there's a chance that your bday might've been the day you died in your previous life, and every time your loved ones celebrate your death anniversary they're also celebrating your rebirth. Also what if the baby inside the mothers womb is just an empty living vessel without a soul and it only gets a soul when it's about to be born. Another thing I have in mind is that what if we remember everything on the moment of reincarnation then slowly forget the truth because our brain aren't fully developed yet. Last but not least what if... we all get reincarnated into something that humans consume and harvest and were all just taking turns, and life is just one big twillight zone episode in a loop.

    For some reason now that I’m older at 64 years of age . I’ve become more compassionate about people and sympathetic towards people. Before I was an angry person and had no feelings for people. I also found love with myself and before I felt negative towards others and life . Today I’m much happier. So could it be my age and my thoughts of life and I see life in a whole different way now . I’m a faithful Catholic and I pray for peace in my life and happiness and pray that someday I will see my oldest son who passed away im 2009

    If I become enlightened and fully accept myself in this lifetime will I retain that knowing in my next lifetime or am I always to be reborn with no knowledge of my self? There is no self, no duality, death and rebirth happens multiple times in one lifetime. My point is what is the point in knowing? Isn't the best thing we can do to just Be here now?!? In the gift! The present.
