I find it interesting how Plum's revolver cutscene was an accident and Peacock's has her hands shaking like she doesn't want to shoot but still does. Adds some depth.
I can imagine their lawyers at the trial. Plum with the revolver ends up only being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, while Peacock with the revolver tries hard to argue for self defense.
Scarlet - Gets the murder over with quickly. Mustard - Knows where and how to hit the most vital spots. White - Most creative with her murders. Green - Intends to make the victim suffer. Peacock - Hesitant and physically weakest. Plum - Intends to get the last laugh.
Scarlet - How a showgirl collects late payments for gigs. Mustard - Probably learned how to murder people in basic. White - Got a little too creative in home ec. class. Green - Actual professional killer with physical training and good technique. Peacock - Proof that with enough ice-cold hatred and contempt, a stick can crush rocks. Plum - My word, did I do that? Oh, silly me!
I love how each animation is different, not just the same over and over again. They're all stylized to the characters: Mrs. White is dusting off the candlestick before she uses it, Colonel Mustard is a crack shot with the pistol, Mr. Green goes right for the gut with the knife and Mrs. Peacock struggles with the weight of the wrench as she swings it for a hit.
Colonol is a Good Knife Thrower, Peacock is Noticeably Reluctant to Kill, Plum Gracefully uses the Knife like a Raiper, The way White Whips the Noose is kinda Sassy in my Opinion, & Scarlet uh, well, kinda souless if you ask me
It adds personality to each character. A few of them are a bit goofy, too, like when Mrs. Peacock stabbed like a robot or when Professor Plum does a “Wait a moment” pose before hitting him with the wrench.
Best thing to ever come out of a cereal box.Scared the living shit out of me when I was like 10.Even now looking at them they still give me the heebie jeebies.
I like how they all have different styles and mannerisms and methods of using the different weapons that match their personalities. For a cereal box game the attention to detail was pretty cool.
@WolfishJT main reason I'd disagree is that he's holding the revolver entirely wrong; if you look closely his finger isn't even on the trigger, which makes it look a lot more like it just went off while handling it carelessly or something
Lmao I remember this coming in a cereal box, and it was packaged with the shitty filtered internet service called LightDog. One ironic part I remember seeing was that in the information box about the different games they included, it stated something to the effect of "family-friendly and violence free" games.. Apparently it didn't register with them that they literally promoted a game that's entirely based around a MURDER
I love the last one with Prof. Plum and the wrench. He's like "Just a sec!" And then WHACK, kills the guy. I loved this game and it scared the hell out of me! So epic.
1:35 Mrs White swinging that rope has lived rent free in my head for 22 years. I'm a horror fanatic where almost nothing shakes me, and I got chills watching it again.
weird Ms peacock seems almost sad when she kills mr boddy like her hands shaking while holding the gun or having a frown after killing him like she was forced too almost... creepy
I remember thinking this was terrifying but weirdly fascinating as a kid. I can't believe they actually got away with putting these scenes in! Here are the ones I always found odd: 2:32 - It's freaky how Mrs. Peacock is flailing that knife around. And then is that brain matter I see as she sticks the knife in your head? 2:53 - the way Peacock stares a you 3:10 My friend and I used to laugh at how it looks like Plum is doing a dance move while stabbing you 3:23 - It's weird they make the Plum/gun combo look like an accident. 3:41 - why does it look like Plum is motioning to us like, "hey, over here!"?
My father and my brothers used to play on team of twos on two computers. We played at night in the dark and BOY let me tell you; when those cutscenes came up we used to scream out of fear.
Mrs Peacock and Mr Green were the scariest. Especially Mrs Peacock. Her floaty movements were scary. Highlights were: 2:19 (The lean in was so un-natural. Really gave off a creepy vibe) 2:50 (She just stares down a lifeless body) 2:57 (The hesitation to the big back lean, very cool, very creepy)
Lol i love Professor Plums surprise after he shot the gun. Ahh man i remember this game as a child, i was so freaked out when those bits came on. Although in the UK we call it Cluedo..but whatever. ;)
I got this game for Christmas, back in 1999. Once I figured out how the game was played and how the notepad worked, I usually didn’t have trouble figuring out the answer. I always thought the animations were a nice touch, too.
I saw it as more her simply having a hard time using the weapons, since most of them would take more strength than she has to swing (and an old revolver would probably be quite difficult to fire).
but those knife kills peacock was trying to knife boddy lol, plum looks like he was saying enguard lol, mustard was the best though got skills with that knife lol.
I'm not sure how you arrived to this conclusion, I'm not seeing it at all. The games, apart from having murder in them, are nothing alike. The graphics aren't that similar either. I think it might just be that you just have FNAF on the brain.

Oh! That actually makes a lot of sense! Thanks for that! I'd actually forgotten about this video but it did answer my question. I can see it now. Boddy stands on something, the rope is slung over something on the ceiling... yank, pull and there. *claps hands* Thanks again! Now it'll stop nagging at me.
If Dr. Orchid used the weapons, here's what would happen: Knife: She slits the throat. Candlestick: She gives an uppercut. Revolver: She twirls it like a cowboy and shoots it. Rope: She lassoes and pulls to a wall. Lead Pipe: She throws it. Wrench: She drops it. How are those scenes? Good?
Mrs. Peacock with the knife scared the fuck out of me as a kid. I saw that cutscene, instantly quit and uninstalled the game. Fucking nightmare fuel at the age of 5.
agreed! My only question is, how do they even manage to get him standing on the chair with the rope around his neck? you'd think he'd struggle against that...
If Dr. Orchid was in these cutscenes, here's how she'd do it as follows: 1. Slit throat with knife 2. Uppercut with candlestick 3. Twirl revolver like cowboy then shoot 4. Lasso with rope and pull to hit a wall 5. Bash on head with lead pipe and 6. Drop wrench on head How do these sound?
lol professor plum shoots and then says oops! colonel mustard seemed pretty violent... throws the knife... i think i got this game in a cereal box... and my lil sister and brother were scared of it cuz of these scenes and the thunder and lightning when it was loading so i couldnt play it around them

I KNOW, RIGHT?! Those eyes...
Particularly Mrs Peacock with the rope
Adam Zabielski I agree
Dude yes!
This game scared the hell out of me when I was younger
I still think Miss Peacock when she hangs him,is the creepiest of all cause she just stands there and stares at him
Me and my brothers used to shit our pants as kids
Same with Scarlet
Imagine that face being the last thing you see before dying.
That is the look of pure hatred and contempt in her eyes. She is literally damning the person to hell as she sends him there.
