Quick tip, from someone who has a high belt. When you kick, don’t wave your arms around. Someone can just land a punch right in your face becuase you can’t block it cuz you hands are back their. And I wish my grading were that easy.

I just had my grading yesterday(kup promotion test) In my studio I’m grading to brown belt which is palgue 7 for everyone and it went for 3 hours I had to do kicks and blocks, board breaking which is breaking a wooden board, sparring, self defences based on your belt(for me I had to defend a headlocks, bear hugs and punches) and all the poomsaes
Good. That usually means you have a good dojo, and not a mcdojo. Also means you'll be more badass the more you learn and every belt will be an achievement and something that shows your skill level and precision. These easy tests just shows how its probably a mcdojo, since the blackbelts look young and they gave this man an orange belt for a half assed idefk-kick.

Coming from a black belt, here's a tip on your kicking, try to get your knee straight, instead of kicking too high and kicking the wrong way, try kicking a little bit lower and then try to get your flexibility up, I used to have the same problem. On your jump turning round house kick, try to jump higher and kick a little later instead of too early. Also, try to keep your hands from flying out. Don't take any of this personally, you are doing pretty well for orange belt. Congratulations.

Yo Bloxzy am high red belt and my tests are hell for deputy black which is the belt am testing for we have to break 2 concrete slabs do ever self defense every kicking requirement and poomsaies from every belt plus breaking two wooden boards with jump turning hook kick and break one board with a speed hand technique for high red belt it was technically the same just breaking one concrete board and one wooden board with a jump side kick so yea plus prathamsFunandlearning you have it easy my tests and others are hell and my sensei is real strict whenever we keep making the same mistakes over and over we just be getting pushups non stop sometimes he’ll go over board and one more mistake and 200 pushups and one time a kid had to do 100 pushups so yea you have it easy
