Tricking is not easy... I did some techniques, but then it was minimal. I didn't get to impress GGM Ernie Reyes that much while testing for my 2nd degree, however I did manage to pass.

After 4 stripes you wait another 6 months or so and that determines if you move up or not. I’m white belt 2 stripes and it’s almost been a year. It takes someone who trains jiujitsu a LONG time to reach black belt. Over 5 years. I guess that also depends on what gym you go to.

Both teams did amazing! I have to say Salish impressed me especially in board breaking, not many beginners can do that and she should defo join a martial arts!

Got my Shodan in 5 and working towards my nidan now.
