It's about balance. Don't stress about daily calories, think about over the span of a week. eg: 2000 calories for 7 days is 14000 calories. you could have days where you eat 2500 and balance it out with other days where you're just under 2000. Eat healthy 90 percent of the time and you could literally eat canes or any other fast food a few times a week and still lose weight
Raising Cane's is terrific. I love their tenders, Texas toast, coleslaw, Cane's sauce, sweet tea and lemonade. They could seriously improve their fries, which are often served limp and lifeless. I usually ask for crispy fries to try and offset the letdown.
